Premier League leaders Arsenal can put some further distance between themselves and Manchester City with a home win against Everton on Wednesday night. The Gunners seem to be over their wee wobble, winning back-to-back league games while the Toffees need something positive here to claw their way out of the relegation zone. We’ve gone through the markets to find the four best value bets for this Premier League clash.

Arsenal -1

Everton have only won in one of their last 20 visits to Arsenal and the hosts are pretty short odds to take the points here. The Gunners had a bit of a wobble, losing twice to Man City, once to the Toffees in Sean Dyche’s first game, and drew with Brentford of late but since then have beaten Aston Villa and Leicester.

After that win on Dyche’s dugout debut, Everton beat Leeds a fortnight later but have lost to both Liverpool and Aston Villa in his other fixtures. The away side have only scored two goals under his leadership and have conceded four. They have a terrible record when visiting Arsenal and while they’ll make things tight and physical again against the Gooners we’ve seen over their past two games that Arsenal have the tools to unlock opposition defences.

The hosts have scored eight over their last five at home in the league while the visiting side have scored just one away goal over their last seven on their travels and we see the hosts winning by at least two goals here.

Martin Odegaard to Score or Assist

Martin Odegaard has been key to Arsenal’s title push this season, scoring eight goals and assisting in six over his 23 league appearances for the Gunners. The Norwegian playmaker has a strong record against Everton too, scoring two goals over his four appearances against them.

Everton will set up to frustrate Arsenal here but we’ve seen that against Liverpool and Aston Villa that tactic did work out, the hosts are far better than both of those teams and Odegaard is going to be key to unlocking the Toffee’s defence here so we’re backing him to score or assist.

Granit Xhaka, Arsenal

Anadou Onana to be Shown a Card

Everton’s Belgian defensive midfielder Anadou Onana has been a bit of a bad boy this season, picking up seven yellow cards over his 20 Premier League games thus far. He’s been in scrappy form of late too and Dyche obviously likes to cut of his jib, playing him in all four of his games in charge where he’s picked up two yellow cards.

It’ll be on the shoulders of Onana to keep both Odegaard and Bukayo Saka quiet on Wednesday night while Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli are likely to be on his radar too. Against such talent we reckon he’s going to bring at least one to ground and have his name taken by the referee.

Bukayo Saka to Score Anytime

Saka has been another one of Arsenal’s key men this season, scoring a total of nine Premier League goals and assisting eight. He’s scored three over his last six in a Gunners shirt while at the Emirates he’s netted five over his last six home Premier League games and he’s a decent price to get on the scoresheet here.
