Tuesday night’s football promises a feast of action, we’ll be looking in on Luton taking on Millwall in the Championship while a little earlier we have the Turin derby in the Serie A where Juventus host Torino. In the FA Cup we’ve dug up some value in the Stoke v Brighton clash as well as the Leicester v Blackburn game.

Stoke v Brighton

TV: ITV 4 (7:15pm)

Both Teams to Score

While there’s plenty of distance between Brighton and Stoke in the English football tier standings, the Potters are enjoying some good home form of late. Alex Neil’s side have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five at home, scoring 10 goals while conceding just two.

Brighton are in decent shape too, winning two, drawing two and losing one of their last five fixtures while on the road have won three and drawn two, scoring 15 goals while conceding six. Both Teams to Score has plenty of value here.

Over 3.5 Goals

With both teams scoring 10 and 15 over their last five home/away games they’ve certainly been in the goals of late. We’ve seen Over 3.5 goals occurring in two of Stoke’s last five fixtures at home while it’s landed in four of the last five for the Seagulls. We should be in for plenty of goals here.

Leicester v Blackburn

Leicester are odds-on favourites here and have won three and lost two of their last five in all competitions, scoring nine while conceding seven. At the King Power things aren’t so rosy with just one win, one draw and three losses with six goals scored and eight conceded.

Blackburn are unbeaten over their last nine games and have won three and drawn two of their last five. On their travels they’ve won one and drawn four, winning one in Extra Time, scoring a total of seven while conceding four. With both teams conceding and scoring plenty over recent fixtures, Both Teams to Score has a decent price.

Juventus v Torino

While the gulf in class is quite obvious for all Serie A fans we cannot dismiss the fact that Torino have scored in seven of their last 10 visits 25 minutes up the road. The Bulls have scored six over their last five in the league as well as five on their recent league travels. 

Juventus have conceded in four of their last six at the Juventus Stadium, scoring eight over those six while conceding eight as well. With the Old Lady conceding and this, as ever, being a tense derby game, the odds for BTTS here are too good to refuse.

Juventus to Win

While the away side should draw some blood the fact is they’ve won just one of their last five away league encounters, drawing three and losing one. The hosts, on the other hand, have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring eight and conceding five. With the additional firepower Juve have, as well as winning three on the bounce now in the league we see the hosts pipping their oldest of rivals here. 

Luton v Millwall

TV: Sky Sports Football (8pm)

Both teams are well involved in the push for the Championship playoffs now but Millwall’s form is slightly better. The hosts have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five while the Lions have won three, drawn one and lost one over the same period.

At home, the Hatters have won three and lost two, scoring six and conceding five while the travelling side have also won three and lost two, scoring four and conceding three. We’ve seen BTTS landing in all four of their most recent meetings at Kenilworth Road and we see that trend continuing.
