Leeds vs Southampton  – Over 2.5 goals

Leeds lost a relegation six-pointer last weekend at Goodison Park and can ill-afford to do so again on home soil. They are without a win since the beginning of November in a run spanning 10 games, while they have also won the fewest number of games of any team in the Premier League.

Not only have Leeds failed to win a game since November, but they have also managed just two clean sheets in their last 16 games and just four in total all season. Southampton, on the other hand, claimed an unexpected win at Stamford Bridge last weekend but remain rooted to the foot of the table.

Saints have managed just two shut outs all season and boast the third-worst defensive record after Bournemouth and Leicester. Leeds have conceded just one goal fewer than Southampton and it is unlikely that either side will be capable of a clean sheet on Saturday afternoon.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see a high-scoring game similar to the 2-2 draw when the sides met in August.

Leicester vs Arsenal – Bukayo Saka to score anytime

Arsenal snatched a hugely important three points at Villa Park last Saturday but need to win again at the King Power to maintain that momentum. They will be confident of doing so against a Leicester side that has blown hot and cold in recent weeks.

Bukayo Saka has scored five goals in nine league games since returning from the World Cup and is the most likely player to get on the scoresheet.

Saka has scored in each of his last two games and looks excellent value to make that three from three against the team with the second-worst defensive record in the league.

West Ham vs Nottingham Forest – Under 1.5 West Ham cards

West Ham slipped into the relegation zone last weekend, but their disciplinary record remains impeccable. The Hammers boast the cleanest stats in the Premier League, picking up just 28 yellow cards in 23 games.

They have picked up one yellow card or fewer in six of their eight league games since the World Cup break, while they have picked up no more than one yellow card in each of their last four games.

They face a huge game against Nottingham Forest but are unlikely to rack up a significant number of bookings whatever the result.

Everton vs Aston Villa – Both teams to score? No

Everton have now played two games at Goodison Park under Sean Dyche, winning both games 1-0. It appears they will rely on home form to survive this season, much like Dyche’s Burnley did to escape the drop for so many seasons.

Despite their obvious struggles this season, the Toffees have actually been pretty decent defensively, conceding 30 goals in 23 games. That is the second-best defensive record in the bottom half and better some teams in the top half, including fourth-placed Tottenham.

They have been relatively difficult to break down all season and will now be even more resolute following Dyche’s arrival, especially at home.
