Lazio v Atalanta

Six of the last eight meetings between Lazio and Atalanta have seen a minimum of three goals while four of the last six meetings at the Stadio Olimpico have also seen Over 2.5 goals landing. With Overs also clicking in three of the Biancocelesti’s last five at home in the league and in three of the away side’s last five on their Serie A travels, goals look to be on the menu here.
Ademola Lookman to Score Anytime
Atalanta winger/forward Ademola Lookman certainly deserves a look here. He’s La Dea’s leading goal-scorer with 12 goals over his 17 Serie A games this season and is in a rich vein of form, netting five over his last five and two over his last five on his travels. Lazio keep a fair amount of clean sheets at home so Atalanta are going to be getting the ball to Lookman as he’s certainly their most lethal threat. We reckon he’s the most likely goal-scorer here.
Valencia v Athletic Bilbao

The pressure is really mounting on Valencia of late, they’re just a point above the relegation zone and results are not going their way. They’ve won none of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing four. On home turf, they’ve won one, drawn one and lost three, scoring six and conceding six.
Bilbao have won three and lost two of their last five, winning one, drawing one and losing three of their last five in La Liga. Their away league form has seen them draw one and lose four. Three of the last four meetings at the Estadio de Mestalla have seen both teams to score occur and we see that trend continuing.
Athletic Bilbao to Win
It’s worth mentioning that Bilbao beat Valencia 1-3 two games ago in the Copa del Rey and have won one and lost one since. The hosts, however, have lost all three of their games since and we don’t see their bad run coming to an end against a side who have scored seven goals over their last three fixtures. We’re going with an away win here.
Clermont v Marseille

Marseille to Win
Clermont have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five in Ligue Un while at home have won just one, drawing two and losing two. Marseille are in good shape, they landed a good punch on PSG midweek, beating them at home in the cup and they’ve now won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five in all competitions. On their league travels they’ve won four and drawn one, scoring a very respectable 11 goals while conceding five. With such good form, we have to back the Phoceens here.
