It’s a very strange situation with Leeds and Manchester United playing each other in the league in back to back games and just a few days apart, but Wednesday’s game was first postponed following The Queen’s passing last year.

I think Leeds will be buoyed by the fact they were able to take the game to Manchester United and found themselves 2-0 up before drawing 2-2.

They played well, they looked dangerous, but Manchester United look to be made of sterner stuff these days and it’s a bit of a throwback to when they were winning loads.

Marcus Rashford’s on fire and it was good for Jadon Sancho to get a goal as well because he’s had a real tough time recently.

It was a big moment for him because there’s definitely a player in there and he just got caught up in the downward spiral that United had been on, but I think Erik ten Hag is a very, very good manager and he seems to be getting a tune out of all of his players now.

Leeds will have belief but I fancy Manchester United to learn and adapt and for them win this one.

The hosts will come out and have a go but there will be a few goals and I think United will win by two or three.

I suspect Ten Hag will try to keep things tight and control the game but when they hit Leeds on the break they will be dangerous.

There were four bookings on Wednesday and, in these Leeds v Man United games, there’s always a bit of spice, certainly with the fans being on the players’ back and given the rivalry between the two clubs. It will be a highly charged atmosphere and there’s always a few cards in these games.

Wilfried Gnonto’s lively from minute one and it was literally the first minute when he opened the scoring during the week. He’s been good since breaking into the team and pace always unsettles defences.

Rashford scored a great header during the week and I think the way that United will set up will be to hit Leeds on the break. He’s United’s biggest danger and he’s absolutely on fire at the moment.

I would have been proud of that header and it’s not something you’d normally expect to see from Rashford but he needs to be scoring more goals inside the six-yard box. Before he started scoring regularly he’d get one every few games from outside the box, trying to score the perfect goal, but things are starting to click from short range and he’s starting to get the scruffy ones that proper goal scorers make a living off.

Marcel Sabitzer’s a bit of a threat from range and he went close the other day. Some of his free kicks are unbelievable. He’s scored a load of really good goals from distance for RB Leipzig and at Bayern Munich. He’s got loads of experience and is someone who the fans probably won’t be thinking will set the world alight, but he’s a player who will make their squad better when they’re fighting on all fronts.
