Manchester United had a really good, strong, team out against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg during the week and they cruised it in the end with a 3-0 victory. They’ve won 10 of their last 12 games and are on a great run. They’re also unbeaten in 12 games at Old Trafford so they are moving in the right direction.
I’ve been very impressed with Erik ten Hag and how he’s done his job. Reading, they’ve just had a bit of a stumble recently under Paul Ince. They’ve lost 10 of their last 15 away games so it’s not looking great for them.
NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?
On January 21st they lost 4-0 away at Stoke so they’re not in good shape. I think Ten Hag will ring the changes but this has to be a resounding Manchester United victory. I think it could be 4-0 to United.
However, for my Bet Builder I’ll play it a bit more conservative and take Manchester United (-2) in the handicaps and for them to keep a clean sheet so Both Teams to Score? No.
As with a few bets recently, including my winner last week, I’m going for Marcus Rashford to Score Anytime as well. I’m not sure if he’s going to play or not but he’s come up trumps for me and I’m sticking with him at this time.
I think Reading will have their work cut out stopping the hosts, and might pick up a few bookings in the process, so I’ll add in Over 2.5 Away Cards as the final leg of my Bet Builder. Here’s hoping for another big winning punt!
