22- ACCA CRACKER - NEW CAP 1024

Tuesday night football has a host of exciting fixtures from the Bundesliga where leaders Bayern Munich host FC Koln while relegation-threatened Hertha Berlin host a Wolfsburg side who are just two points behind Borussia Dortmund in sixth. In Italy, Lazio face defending champions AC Milan while in the Carabao Cup Southampton face a Newcastle side who have lost just one of their last 19 fixtures. Let’s find some value in the markets.

19:30 – Bayern Munich v KC Koln – Bayern to Win & Over 3.5 Goals

TV: Sky Sports Mix

Bayern restarted their Bundesliga season with a 1-1 draw away to RB Leipzig on Friday night while FC Koln thrashed Werder Bremen 7-1 on Saturday afternoon. The home side have won four and drawn one of their last five in the league, while at the Allianz are undefeated this season, winning four and drawing one of their last five, scoring at least four goals in four of those games.

Koln have won just one of their last five in league action, drawing one and losing three while on their travels have lost four and drawn one, failing to score in three of them. We’re looking at Bayern to Win & Over 3.5 goals here.

19:30 – Hertha Berlin v Wolfsburg – Wolfsburg to Win

Hertha lost their relegation six-pointer against Bochum over the weekend and have only won one of their last five in the league. On home soil they’ve actually been decent with two wins, two draws and a loss, scoring nine while conceding seven with Both Teams to Score landing in four of those matches.

Wolfsburg smashed Freiburg 6-0 on Saturday afternoon and can overtake both Dortmund and Leipzig into fourth should they win here. The Wolves are unbeaten over their last nine in the league, winning all five of their most recent league clashes. On the road things aren’t so great but they’re still decent with two wins, two draws and a loss, scoring eight and conceding six. Seeing the visiting side priced well above Evens at the time of writing we’re getting some mighty value here for a team in such strong form.

19.45 – Lazio v AC Milan – Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

Lazio have only managed to beat the Rossoneri in one of their last six visits south to the capital city. The hosts have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five in all competitions and share the same record over their last five in the Serie A. At the Stadio Olimpico they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring eight while conceding five.

Milan’s results are pretty poor of late, winning just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing three (losing one in Extra Time) and losing one. In league action they’ve won two and drawn three and on their league excursions have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring seven and conceding six with BTTS landing in four of those matches. We have to look at goals here especially as seven of their last 10 combined home/away games have seen Over 2.5 goals.

20:00 – Southampton v Newcastle – Both Teams to Score

TV: Sky Sports Football

Newcastle’s undefeated run is certainly impressive and another impressive set of stats have seen them conceding just one goal in their last eight Premier League games. This, however, is a League Cup clash and, it’s worth mentioning that the only team that did score against them over those eight league games, was, of course, Southampton.

The Saints are finding a bit of form of late, winning three of their last five in all competitions while at home have won just two, losing the other three, scoring five and conceding six. Toon have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five fixtures and on their travels have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring eight and conceding just one. The Saints have only kept one clean sheet over their last 15 home games, against Man City no less, so Newcastle will score and the home side have scored in eight of their last 10 fixtures, so we’re looking at a BTTS pick here.
