Crouchy’s Shouts: Rashford on target in 7/1 shot for Arsenal v United

It might not be Keane v Vieira, but it still should be a cracking game between Arsenal and Man United on Sunday, says Peter Crouch

Arsenal totally outclassed Spurs in the derby.

To go to a big rival and dominate the first half the way they did, Tottenham just couldn’t get out at times. You have to admit they looked like champion material the way they handled the game.

I thought they’d struggle without Jesus but Nketiah’s stepped up and has been good in link up play, so they must be favourites for the title now.

Mikel Arteta

They believe now. They’ve got that winning mentality. Arteta on the sideline and Ramsdale too winding up the opposition shows they’re building a winning mentality.

United have been in great form too. Obviously they won nine-in-a-row up to the Palace game on Wednesday, but I always think that Selhurst Park is a very tough place to go. There’s always been shocks there down the years.

The last-minute goal is disappointing but United have a lot to be pleased about this season.

I couldn’t say they looked like a title-winning side even after the City result, but I wouldn’t have said that abut Arsenal at the start of the season either. They look like they could be now.

The manager is top-class. He’s made big decisions at United, and it’s similar to Arteta at Arsenal in some ways. They both got some stick at the start but has come through and you’re seeing the fruition of it.

United still look just short to me in the title race but top 4 seems assured and there’s a lot to be pleased about.

Casemiro been a huge part of the turnaround. When I look at him and Martinez, I come back to the word mentality – they have what the team’s been needing for years. They’re tough, they’re steely, they’re win-at-all-costs kind of players.

He will be a big loss for this game with the suspension. This game isn’t Keane v Vieira anymore but I still think there’ll be a bit of spice to it.

And if Fred comes in to the team like you’d expect he’ll be in the thick of the action there.

It should be an exciting game too though. I’m really looking forward to it as I genuinely can’t make my mind up who’ll come out on top.

I think there will eb a few goals though as both sides have been playing so well recently.

Bukayo Saka has really stepped up this season and carries a big threat, but Gabriel Martinelli is also delivering on his potential and both of them together will really test United’s defence.

And Marcus Rashford has been in great form since the World Cup. He bound to cause problem for Arsenal at the other end and should make Ramsdale work on Sunday afternoon.
