Saturday 12.30pm: Liverpool v Chelsea

This is Jurgen Klopp’s 1,000th game as a manager which is very impressive. Will it have a bearing? Will he be more up for it? Liverpool have lost their last two Premier League games, conceding three in each against Brentford and Brighton, which you wouldn’t expect.
They’ve conceded the opening goal in 15 of their last 22 Premier League games so you do expect Liverpool to concede, that’s how I’d look at this. Chelsea have not been much better, have they?

They’ve lost seven of their last 11 games in all competitions, they’ve only won two of their last 10 Premier League games so it’s not going to plan. With it being at Anfield I am going to go for Liverpool to Win.
I can see goals but not loads, I’m going to go for Liverpool to Win this 2-1 so that’s Both Teams to Score as well. Liverpool got their first clean sheet in I don’t know how long in the FA Cup replay against Wolves the other night.
You’ve expect Liverpool to concede but have Chelsea got enough firepower to win the game? I think not. So, I’m going 2-1 to Liverpool and for Mo Salah to Score Anytime.

Saturday 5.30pm: Crystal Palace v Newcastle
TV: Sky Sports
What a turnaround it’s been for Newcastle. I was one of the Eddie Howe doubters but what a teriffic job he’s done and he’s not spent a huge amount and it’s not been on big names but he’s brought in good characters that he can build around.
This side has the best defence in the whole of English football, only conceding 11 goals, which is truly astonishing. They’ve had five successive clean sheets, they’re unbeaten in six away Premier League games. Yes, we’re talking Newcastle United Football Club with these stats!
You would never, ever have thought it was possible. On the other hand Crystal Palace are quite wayward at the moment. Yes, I know they scored that last minute wondergoal of a free kick against Manchester United during the week but I thought United deserved the three points.
Palace have lost four of their last six in the Premier League and they’ve not won any of their 10 Premier League games against sides currently in the top half. They’re not faring well against the teams doing well.
They’ve picked up just one point from their last three Premier League games at home. I think this is a comfortable Newcastle Win. I fancy Miguel Almiron, he’s been quiet in the last couple of games but he’s had a terrific season. I’m going for Almiron to Score Anytime.
Sunday 2pm: Leeds v Brentford
TV: Sky Sports
Leeds are very flaky. There’s all this talk about is Jesse Marsch the right person, are the players still with him? I know he’s come out with a great defence of himself but when you start hearing these kinds of things it’s not good.
I would have to say that I think Brentford are in terrific form at the moment so I’m going for Brentford to Win this 2-1, it will be very close, and if you want a goal scorer it’s Ivan Toney to Score Anytime – the best penalty kick taker in the league.
Sunday 4.30pm: Arsenal v Manchester United
