Friday night’s football will be serving up an absolute feast of action thanks to the return of the Bundesliga where league leaders Bayern Munich travel to RB Leipzig. In the Championship the top two are both in action with second-placed Sheffield United entertaining Hull while leaders Burnley face a tougher test against West Brom. Finally then to Spain where Celta Vigo need a win to stay above the relegation zone.

RB Leipzig v Bayern Munich – Bayern to Win & Both Teams to Score

This has the element of do-or-die for the hosts. RB Leipzig are six points behind Bayern at the top of the table and a win here would blow the title race wide open again, especially with Freiburg sandwiched in between the pair. The home side have gone 13 games undefeated in all competitions, winning 11 of those games and at the RB Arena have won all eight of their most recent competitive games, scoring at least two goals in all of those matches.
Bayern are also on a run of 13 games without defeat, winning 12, while on their travels have won all of their last six away games, scoring at least two in all of them. The Bavarian have beaten the Bulls in four of their last five meetings and in four of their last five in Leipzig too. The hosts will make a go of it but there’s more goals, guile and experience among the ranks of the visitors and we see those factors making the difference here so we’re backing Bayern to Win and Both Teams to Score
Sheffield United v Hull – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

The Blades are enjoying a run of eight games undefeated in all competitions while in the Championship Paul Heckingbottom’s side have won six and drawn one of their last seven and at Bramall Lane have won four and lost one, scoring 12 while conceding five.
Hull have been quite inconsistent this season but have found a bit of form of late, going six games undefeated now, winning two and drawing four in their league fixtures. On their excursions they’ve won three and drawn two, scoring eight while conceding just three. As good as United have been this season they’ve conceded in all but two of their last 10 at home in the league, we see both scoring here and at least one of the teams getting a second.
Burnley v West Brom – Over 2.5 Goals
TV: Sky Sports Football (8pm)
What do Burnley, Arsenal and Barcelona have in common? Two things actually, all are top of their respective leagues and all are managed by former Pep Guardiola players. Burnley have won nine of their last 10 games in all competitions, winning all seven of their most recent Championship encounters. At Turf Moor they’ve not lost yet this season in the league and have won all eight of their most recent fixtures, scoring at least two goals in six of those eight games.
West Brom are in good shape too though so this won’t be a walkover, the Baggies have won five of their last six fixtures, drawing the other one while in the league Carlos Corberan’s side have won nine of their last 10. Looking at away league games only, they’ve won four and lost one of their last five, scoring eight and conceding four. Two form teams means we should see at least three goals here.
Mallorca v Celta Vigo – Both Teams to Score
TV: Premier Sports 2 (8pm)
Mallorca’s La Liga results have seen them winning three of their last five, losing the other two while on home soil they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two. Vigo have won just one of their last five, drawing three and losing one and on their league jaunts have won just one, drawing one and losing three, scoring three while conceding eight.
This will hardly go down as a classic but the hosts have scored in six of their eight home La Liga games this campaign while the away side have gotten at least one in five of their eight on the road so we’re getting some nice value with a Both Teams to Score pick here.
