The Draw
Leeds and Cardiff will do it all over again on Wednesday night after Sonny Perkins’ 90th minute equaliser for Jesse Marsch’s mad dogs 11 days ago means we’re gearing up for an FA Cup 3rd Round replay here. Cardiff went 2-0 up before Rodrigo pulled one back and the hosts saw Joel Bagan dismissed for two yellows. Perkins pounced in the 93rd minute to level that thriller and make it 2-2.
Statistically Leeds battered the Bluebirds with 73.6% possession and an eye-watering 26 attempts on goal. However, it still ended in a stalemate and these two absolutely love a draw.
Obviously they drew with each other two weekends ago and Cardiff have now drawn six of their last seven in all competitions. Leeds have drawn three of their last four and haven’t won for eight games. I think both sides will be putting out similar sides here and the value is definitely with history repeating itself and siding with The Draw at a handsome price.
Both Teams to Score
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. And, based on that mantra, I’ll be expecting Both Teams to Score again. In addition to the theme of lots of draws of late these two have also seen both sides scoring on plenty of occasions as well.
This is a punt that would have clicked in eight of the visitors’ last 10. It’s less frequent for The Bluebirds but has still landed in four of their last seven and that includes a run of three games where they failed to net. They’ve scored in their last two and we’ll back them to do so again against a changed Leeds side.

Wilfried Gnonto To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target
A Leeds that that will hopefully include the exciting Wilfried Gnonto again. He played the full 90 against Cardiff and also in the 2-1 loss last time out against Aston Villa and he’s slowly worked his way into Marsch’s first 11 of late.
In his last three games he’s attempted eight shots with three on target and one finding the net. There is a risk that he’s rested here, especially now he’s become and important player for Leeds, so the team sheet will be well worth a check but if he starts there’s a really decent chance we see Gnonto Have 1 Or More Shots On Target.
Rodrigo to Score Anytime
Rodrigo also started and scored in the first meeting between these two and, assuming Marsch wants to go for a cup run, or even just their first win in eight games, we’ll hope he does so again here. The Brazil-born forward is Leeds’ top scorer this term with 11 goals from 19 appearances.
Other than the injury-prone Patrick Bamford he’s Leeds’ most dangerous weapon in the 18-yard box. He’s a step or two above the Bluebirds’ backline so Rodrigo to Score Anytime should have a good chance.
