22- ACCA CRACKER - NEW CAP 1024

Tuesday night finds us prowling for value in the FA Cup replays where the tie of the round sees Wolves hosting Liverpool after a Hwang Hee-Chan earned Wolves a return to Molineux. Elsewhere we have two all-Championship affairs with bottom-of-the-table Wigan hosting Luton and Swansea entertain Bristol City. To Italy then where high flying Napoli can book their place in the last eight against Roma should they overcome Cremonese at home.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

Wigan v Luton – Luton to Win

Wigan have now gone eight games in all competitions without a single victory. Their home form is nothing to boast about also, winning just one of their last five at the DW, losing the other four, scoring five goals while conceding 12.

Luton have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five fixtures while on their recent travels have won three and lost two, scoring seven and conceding five. Luton’s recent form should see them over the line here.

Swansea v Bristol City – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Neither side come into this FA Cup replay in the best of shape, the Swans have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five fixtures while on home soil share the same results with nine goals scored and five conceded.

Bristol have won one, drawn three and lost one over their previous five games in all competitions and on their recent excursions also share the same record with five goals scored and four conceded. Over the last two seasons both games here finished 3-1 and 1-3. We should see both scoring here with their respective goal stats but the hosts have scored at least two goals in six of their last eight on home turf so we’re getting some pretty decent odds here for a Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals.

Jordan Henderson, Liverpool, 1-23

Wolves v Liverpool – Both Teams to Score, No Draw

TV: BBC One (7.45pm)

Of Julen Lopetegui’s seven games in charge of Wolves he’s seen his side winning three, drawing three (losing one on penalties) and losing one. Beating fellow strugglers Everton and West Ham over that run were both crucial wins in the race for Premier League survival. They were unlucky not to win at Anfield the first time around, thanks to some VAR shenanigans, and will be confident of getting one over a Liverpool side who are in a bit of a bind of late.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five while on the road have won two and lost three, scoring eight and conceding 11. With Liverpool conceding so many and Wolves finding their scoring boots again under Lopetegui they’ll surely score one, possibly two. Liverpool’s scoring record means they should be getting on the scoresheet at least once too so we’re expecting something like a 2-1 or 1-2 scoreline here come full time.

22- ACCA CRACKER - NEW CAP 1024

Napoli v Cremonese – Napoli to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Premier Sports 1 (8pm)

Napoli have won nine and lost just one over their last 10 competitive games and of their 12 home games so far this season in all competitions they’ve won 11 and drawn one, scoring at least two goals in nine of those 11 matches. Nine of those 12 ended with Over 2.5 goals as well.

Cremonese are rooted firmly to the bottom of the Serie A with just seven points after 18 games and have lost four of their last five fixtures, drawing the other one. Their away form is a wee bit better with four draws and two losses over their last six on the road, scoring six and conceding 10. The Little Donkeys should win at a canter here and we’re likely looking at a 2-1, 3-0 or above scoreline.
