Aston Villa v Leeds
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League (Fri, 8pm)
We’ve got some Friday night football in the Premier League and I expect Aston Villa to Win. Apart from their FA Cup disaster against Stevenage, they’ve impressed under Unai Emery. The Villa boss will demand a response from his players, especially in front of their home crowd.
However, I do like Both Teams to Score. There have been goals in this fixture in recent years and I’m hoping for more of the same on Friday.
Ollie Watkins to Score Anytime also seems a smart pick. He’s been working hard up top for Villa and he deserves a goal. Leeds look a little open at the back too so he should get chances.
Man United v Man City
TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate (Sat, 12.30pm)
While Manchester City are the favourites, despite their Carabao Cup exit in the week, I’m liking a Manchester United win, especially at the odds!
Erik ten Hag has done a brilliant job since taking over at Old Trafford and this side is going about their work under the radar.
United have won their last six games in all competitions and it’s been led by Marcus Rashford, who is on fire at the moment.
City didn’t have a shot on target against Southampton so I’m backing United to Win 2-1 and Rashford to Score Anytime.
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League (Sat, 5.30pm)
Brentford have been brilliant this season and they were superb when beating my beloved Liverpool in the Premier League.
They face a struggling Bournemouth side, who have lost their new manager bounce under Gary O’Neil, so I’m siding with Brentford to Win.
I’m also on Bryan Mbeumo to Score Anytime with Ivan Toney likely to miss out. He’s always lively and he causes problems to every defence he faces.
Newcastle v Fulham
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League (Sun, 2pm)
Newcastle are flying under Eddie Howe this season and top four is a genuine possibility. The Toon’s loss at Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup was really disappointing but they bounced back in the Carabao Cup against Leicester.
They’ve got plenty of energy and they’ve been dominant. While, Fulham have impressed this season, I’m siding with Newcastle to Win 1-0.
My goalscorer pick is Callum Wilson to Score Anytime. He’s Newcastle’s main man and he’s looked sharp this season.
