Footy Acca Tips Tonight
7:30pm: Wrexham v Bromley – Wrexham -1 7:45pm: Bradford v Rochdale – Bradford to Win 8pm: Inter v Parma – Inter -2 8:45pm: Varzim v Benfica – Benfica -1
After the weekend’s FA Cup action, we’re turning our attention to Tuesday night’s games – and first up is Wrexham v Bromley in the National League.
The hosts, who stunned Championship side Coventry in the FA Cup on Saturday, are second in the league and five points behind Notts County, however, they have two games in hand.
Wrexham have won 17 of their 24 games this season and they’ve won all 11 home fixtures.
They host Bromley, who are tenth in the National League having won nine, drawn seven and lost seven of their games this season.
Bromley’s away form is average (they’ve won four of their 11 fixtures) and Wrexham should have more than enough to secure another three points. The odds on a Wrexham win aren’t good enough so we’re siding with Wrexham -1 on the Handicap.
7:45pm: Bradford v Rochdale – Bradford to Win
Next up, attention is on Bradford v Rochdale in League Two.
Mark Hughes’ side are fifth in the league, however, a win can move them up to fourth and within four points of Northampton in third.
Bradford have won their last two and they host second-bottom Rochdale, who have won just four times all season.
Rochdale, who have scored just 19 times in 24 games, are winless in their last five outings so Bradford to Win makes sense.
We’re heading from Bradford to Milan now as Inter face Parma in the Coppa Italia.
Inter were held to a 2-2 draw at Monza on Saturday, which ended their three-game winning run. However, they’re just seven points off Serie A leaders Napoli and three points behind Juventus in second.
They host Serie B side Parma, who are sixth in the table after 19 games. However, their form has been indifferent in recent weeks, with Parma winning just once in their last five games.
All signs point to an Inter win regardless of what team Simone Inzaghi puts out. An Inter victory isn’t worth backing so we’re siding with Inter -2 on the Handicap.
8:45pm: Varzim v Benfica – Benfica -1
Finally, we’ve got Varzim v Benfica in the Portuguese Cup.
Benfica are flying in the league and they’re six points clear of Braga in second after 15 games.
They host Varzim from the LigaPro, which is the second division in Portugal, but the hosts are having a dismal season.
Varzim are second bottom having won just eight of their 34 games in the league.
It should be a routine victory for Benfica but at the odds, let’s go with Benfica -1 on the Handicap.
