Leeds to Win
Premier League football steps aside this weekend so we’re fully focused on the FA Cup. We’re taking a look at Cardiff v Leeds on Sunday afternoon. We’re siding with an away win as Leeds should have too much quality for Cardiff. The away side have impressed in spells recently but results haven’t gone their way.
Cardiff are 20th in the Championship and they’re winless in their last five. They also struggle to score and they’ve netted a league-low 20 times this campaign.
Marc Roca to be Shown a Card
We’re expecting tackles to be flying in – as is the case with Leeds in most games – and there’s some value in the cards market.
First up is Leeds’ Marc Roca. It’s worth pointing out that Junior Firpo seems almost guaranteed for a booking if he plays but we’re not sure on Marsch’ starting XI.
Instead, we’ll side with holding midfielder Roca. The Spaniard averages 2.2 tackles per game as well as committing around one foul per match.
Roca has received the joint-most yellow cards for Leeds this season and his tally could rise on Sunday.
Ryan Wintle to be Shown a Card
Ryan Wintle to be Shown a Card also makes plenty of sense and it’s a decent price too. The Cardiff holding midfielder has already picked up six yellow cards this season in the Championship. He averages just under a foul a game in the league, however, he’ll be busier than usual when trying to stop Premier League quality players.
The likes of Brenden Aaronson and Crysencio Summerville will be buzzing around Wintle and he could easily mistime a tackle and end up in the book.
