12:30pm: Bristol City v Swansea – The Draw

The FA Cup Third Round roadshow rubles on all throughout Sunday and we’ve rounded up some best bets with a bit of value slightly off the beaten track. So, where better to start than with an all-Championship clash and a vague kind of derby in the shape of Bristol City v Swansea?

These two are 19th and 15th in the English second tier and both probably won’t be too disappointed to crash out of the cup at the earliest possible opportunity. However, the value in here might be siding with The Draw.

These two are in shabby form and The Robins have won one of their last 11 in all competitions and it’s one in 10 for The Swans. They are both partial to a draw though with five apiece over those runs. You can’t trust either side to win here and even if both are trying to lose The Draw is still very appealing.

12:30pm: Derby v Barnsley – Over 2.5 Goals

It’s an all League One affair next but this game features two sides in really good form. It’s 4th hosting 5th and Derby haven’t lost in any competition for 15 matches, winning seven and drawing eight. The Tykes have failed to win in just three of their last 11, losing two, drawing one and taking the spoils in the rest.

This should be a pretty good game, then, with both teams in high confidence and both looking to lay down a marker on a prospective playoff rival. Goals could be the way to go here. Barnsley have seen Over 2.5 Goals in six of their last eight and for Derby it’s two of their last four but they’ve scored nine goals alone in that run.

2pm: Norwich v Blackburn – Blackburn (+1)

We’re carting ourselves back to The Championship here where our protagonists Norwich and Blackburn are both out of sorts. The Canaries are down to 11th while Rovers are still 3rd despite a run of form that’s seen them win just two of their last eight games.

Norwich have won just one of their last six and, crucially, they lost at home to Blackburn 2-0 back on December 17th. Based on that game, and the fact Blackburn won last time out, we’re getting a stonking price on Blackburn (+1) in the handicaps.

2pm: Aston Villa v Stevenage- Both Teams to Score

It’s glorious FA Cup Third Round fare next where the in-form Stevenage of League Two head to the historic Villa Park to take on Aston Villa of the Premier League. Boro are 2nd in the fourth tier and have lost just one of their last 14 in all competitions.

It feels nailed on that Villa are going to make big changes for this match while Stevenage will be going full bore at it to cause an upset and pocket some dosh that will go a long way to bolstering their promotion charge. While Boro might lack the quality to get over the line I think they can give their hosts a scare and I like the look of Both Teams to Score in this game.

Stevenage have scored in 13 of their last 15 league games and while, obviously, League Two is nowhere near the caliber of the Premier League they clearly have a keen eye for goal. Both sides have scored in five of Villa’s last six and with a rotated defence they could be prime for shipping once again.
