8pm: Hibernian v Celtic

Celtic -1

Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic travel to Hibernian on Wednesday night as Ange Postecoglou’s side look to extend their lead at the top of the table. They face a Hibs side who have lost their last four league games and conceded ten goals in that spell.

Celtic, meanwhile, have won 16 of their 17 league games this season and they’ve scored 29 times on their travels. The Bhoys are short-odds favourites to take the three points home from Edinburgh and with them being in the goals we see them winning by at least two here.

Over 2.5 Goals

We’ve mentioned about Celtic scoring for fun on their travels so Over 2.5 Goals looks like a smart selection here. Celtic’s games average just under four goals per game, while Hibs’ average is just under three goals. Over 2.5 Goals has landed in four of Celtic’s last five outings and in three of Hibs’ last five home games and has been seen in four of their last six meetings held at Easter Road. With the away side looking to put even further distance between themselves and Rangers in second we see at least three goals being scored here.

8pm: PSG v Strasbourg

PSG -2

Ligue 1 leaders PSG return to action on Wednesday night, with Kylian Mbappe and Co. hosting 19th-placed Strasbourg. The Parisians are unbeaten in the league this season having won 13 and drawn two of their 15 outings. Strasbourg, meanwhile, have won just once all season.

The home side have scored 43 goals over their 15 Ligue Un games this season while conceding just nine in that period. It should be a routine victory for PSG and we’re siding with PSG -2 on the Handicap market.

Kylian Mbappe to Score Anytime

We’re expecting PSG to dominate against second-from-bottom Strasbourg and with Lionel Messi likely to be absent following his World Cup heroics, all eyes will be on Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Mbappe was sensational at the World Cup, the Frenchman scored eight goals in six starts in Qatar, including a hat-trick in the final against Argentina.

The 24-year-old already has 12 Ligue Un goals in 13 starts this season and he’ll be desperate to bounce back immediately following the World Cup final defeat. He already has five goals over eight career appearances against the visitors and should be adding to that tally here.

Neymar to Score Anytime

While Mbappe had a stunning World Cup, it didn’t quite go to plan for Neymar. He scored two and set up one goal in his three games but Brazil were knocked out in the quarter-finals against Croatia after Neymar picked up an injury and missed a couple of group stage games.

PSG’s Number 10 will also be keen to bounce back and like Mbappe, he’s been superb for the current league leaders this season. He’s netted 15 goals and chipped in with 11 assists in all competitions. He will likely add to his goal tally against a struggling Strasbourg side here.
