7:45pm: Newcastle v Bournemouth

Newcastle to Win
Both Teams to Score

We’re into the Carabao Cup fourth round and we’ve got a few fixtures to get stuck into on Tuesday night.

First up, we’re focusing on the all-Premier League clash between Newcastle and Bournemouth.

The Toon were flying before the World Cup break, with Eddie Howe’s men ending up in third in the Premier League after winning five in a row.

Newcastle host Bournemouth, who confirmed Gary O’Neil as their new permanent manager last month. Bournemouth had lost four in a row before their 3-0 victory against Everton prior to the World Cup break.

Newcastle are unbeaten at home in the Premier League this season and it’s hard to see anything but another victory.

The Toon also come into this one on the back of their 2-1 win against Rayo Vallecano in a friendly on Saturday, with Howe fielding a strong side.

While we fancy a home win, we’re also backing Both Teams to Score. Bournemouth are a set piece threat and both sides netted in two of their last three league games.

7:45pm: Wolves v Gillingham

Wolves -1
Both Teams to Score: No

Next up is Premier League Wolves facing off against League Two Gillingham.

It will be Julen Lopetegui’s first official game in charge for Wolves and it’s a perfect clash to kick off his reign.

Gillingham are bottom of League Two having won just two of their 20 games. They’ve also conceded 24 goals in that period.

It should be a comfortable Wolves win so we’re getting behind Wolves -1 on the Handicap betting, regardless of what team Lopetegui decides to put out.

We’re also chucking in Both Teams to Score: No as Gillingham have scored just six goals in League Two this season.

7:45pm: Southampton v Lincoln

Southampton -1
Over 2.5 Goals

Finally, we’ve got Southampton v Lincoln. Nathan Jones will be taking charge of his second Saints game and he’ll be desperate to secure a convincing first win.

The Premier League side host League One Lincoln, who are 14th in the table. Lincoln have won just six of their 20 games this season and they’ve only won once in their last five outings.

All signs point to a Southampton win but Jones’ men aren’t worth backing at the price. Instead, we’ll get behind Southampton -1 on the Handicap.

We also like the look of Over 2.5 Goals. Southampton’s front line will see this clash as a perfect opportunity to get on the scoresheet and build some confidence ahead of the return of the Premier League.

Tuesday’s Carabao Cup betting tips:

7:45pm: Newcastle v Bournemouth – Newcastle to Win & Both Teams to Score
7:45pm: Wolves v Gillingham – Wolves -1 & Both Teams to Score: No
7:45pm: Southampton v Lincoln – Southampton -1 & Over 2.5 Goals
