7.45pm: Juventus v Lazio – BTTS? No and Under 2.5 goals

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

We kick off in Turin where Juventus in 4th host Lazio who are having a sterling season and sit in 2nd. It’s another huge match for the Old Lady but they’ll be in high spirits after seeing off Inter last weekend and following that up with a win at Verona on Tuesday.

Lazio also come into this one on the back of consecutive wins but they’ve been dealing in Binary Code recently with three straight games with just one goal. Juventus aren’t much more exciting with just four goals across their last three Serie A matches.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

We have to go with that trend then and look err on the lower side of Paddy’s goal markets. With both being so high in the league both have good home and away records respectively so it might pay to veer away from a W-D-W wager as this could go any which way.

I like the look of Both Teams To Score? No and Under 2.5 Goals. This has landed in Juve’s three most recent games and two of the away side’s fixtures over the same timeframe. Both have excellent defences and these two could well cancel each other out.

7.45pm: Monaco v Marseille – Monaco to Win

TV: BT Sport 2

To France next where 5th hosts 4th in Monaco and Marseille’s clash. The hosts’ best form this season has come on the road while Marseille have fairly similar home and away records.

The principality club had had a little wobble of two draws and two losses sandwiched in-between four wins on the bounce and since then they’ve now won three consecutive games in all competitions. Marseille had been on a torrid run of five losses in their last seven across the competitions but they did claim big win against Lyon last weekend.

Despite that recent improvement I still think we can quite confidently back Monaco to Win. They’ve scored eight goals and conceded just one in their last three while Marseille have scored four, conceded four, and won, drawn and loss in their last three.

8.30pm: Famalicao v Sporting – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Viaplay Xtra

We finish off down in Portugal for Sporting’s trip to Famalicao. The visitors have been a little underwhelming this season and they’re in 5th, 12 points behind table-toppers Benfica. Famalicao are in 14th and are just two points clear of the relegation playoff spot.

The main problem for Sporting this season has been their away form in the Primeira Liga. They’ve taken only seven points from their six games and they’re in the bottom half of the away table. Famalicao have been going okay at home and have nine points from five games in front of their own supporters.

This one feels like it’s got banana skin written all over it and it might be best to back goals. Sporting’s attacking output has been quite good but their defence hasn’t been up to scratch. Overall, their 12 league games this season have had seen 38 goals at an average of 3.17 per match.

Famalicao haven’t been scoring many, just 10 in their 12 games, shipping 16 in that time, to give them a combined average of 2.17 per match. I’ll have a go on Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals. Overs has landed in six of Sporting’s last seven league games with both sides scoring in four of those. The hosts have netted in four of their last five so we’ll back them to do so again here.
