Monchengladbach v Dortmund – BTTS, No Draw

7.30pm – TV: Sky Sports Mix

Borussia Monchengladbach are in bad shape of late, the Foals have won just one of their last five fixtures in all competitions, losing the other four. Their league form is slightly better with one win, one draw and three losses while on home turf things are far rosier with three wins and two losses.

Dortmund have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five respective games while in the league have won three and lost two and their away league results are quite bad with just one win and four losses over their last five. On recent form you’d have to give it to BVB but the hosts have won this fixture in two of the last five editions and the away side’s form on their travels is, well, muck.

Both, however, are scoring plenty, averaging 2.29 and 1.14 goals on average in their home/away games and with just five draws over their combined 28 Bundesliga games this season we don’t see this one ending all square. Both Teams to Score, No Draw has the value here.

Empoli v Cremonese – The Draw and BTTS

7.45pm – TV: BT Sport 1

Empoli have won two and lost three of their last five matches while their home form has also seen the same results, scoring four and conceding seven. Cremonese have chalked up just seven points over their 14 Serie A matches this season, winning none of them. The away side have drawn four and lost one of their last five in the league while on their excursions share the same results, scoring seven and conceding nine.

The market is expecting an Empoli win here but they’re not really scoring especially as they face a side who have been very tough to beat of late. Indeed the value here is in opposing a home win as the visits are proving a tough nut to crack of late. The Draw is a decent price but the scoring and conceding records of both sides means we can add Both Teams To Score into the mix and get a far better price.

Lyon v Nice – Both Teams to Score

8pm – TV: BT Sport Extra

Nice come into this Ligue 1 clash in the better form of the pair, the away side have lost none of their last six games in all competitions while in the league have won three and drawn two of their last five and on their travels have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring seven and conceding five.

Lyon have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five in the league while at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring nine and conceding three. With those goal-scoring records we have to go with a Both Teams To Score pick for this one.

Birmingham v Sunderland – Birmingham Draw No Bet

8p, – TV: Sky Sports Football

Birmingham are in decent nick of late, Blues have lost just one of their last eight fixtures and of their last five Championship matches have won two, drawn two and lost one while at St Andrew’s have won two and drawn three of their last five played there, scoring eight and conceding just three.

Sunderland have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three. On their away trips they’ve won one, drawn two and lost two, scoring six and conceding seven. The hosts should win here but we have to point out that they been drawing a few too many so let’s take some cover and take Birmingham in the Draw No Bet market.
