7pm: Valencia v Betis – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Premier Sports 2

Valencia have been plummeting down the La Liga table of late, winning none of their last five league fixtures, drawing three and losing two. Things have been a bit better at the Estadio de Mestalla where they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring 11 and conceding six with Over 2.5 goals landing in four and Both Teams to Score in three.

Betis are up in fifth at the time of writing although this may have changed by the time kickoff comes around here. Los Verdiblancos have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five in all competitions while in the league have won two, drawn two and lost one and on their travels have won just one, drawing two and losing two. We should see both teams to score with Over 2.5 Goals.

7.45pm: Lazio v Monza – Milinkovic-Savic Score or Assist

TV: BT Sport 1

Lazio are making a strong claim to finish in the European places and manager Maurizio Sarri has his team now playing how he wants them; fast on the break and pressing all over the field. Over their last five Serie A fixtures, Le Aquile have taken 10 points from a possible 15 with three wins, one draw and a loss but on home turf results haven’t been as good with two wins, one draw and two losses.

Monza have won two and lost three of their last five in the league and on their excursions have won one, drawn one and lost three, scoring five and conceding nine. The hosts will be eager to get three points on the board here as they aren’t guaranteed anything when they visit Turin on Sunday to face Juventus.

We have to look at Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, he’s been in the form of his life and returns from a bookings suspension here. He’s been paramount to Lazio’s push up the table this season, scoring three and creating seven for his teammates. With those stats the Serbian midfielder has some very decent odds to Score or Assist here.

8pm: Man United v Aston Villa – BTTS, No Draw

TV: Sky Sports Football

Manchester United were resoundingly beaten by Unai Emery’s rejuvenated Aston Villa last weekend at Villa Park, can they repeat their swashbuckling performance? Well, it must be noted that United at Old Trafford are a different beast, of their last eight home games in all competitions they’ve only lost one, winning six and drawing one, scoring 12 and conceding just three.

Villa have won two and lost three of their last five matches and their away form has seen them winning just once this season; a 1-4 victory over Bolton Wanderers in the previous round of the League Cup. Of their last five they’ve drawn two and lost three, scoring just two goals while conceding nine. However, they’ve got the proverbial between their teeth now and are up for a fight.

The Red Devils are pretty short odds to win here and will surely name a rotated side. Villa need to get some wins under their belt and should go with a similar starting XI to the one that beat United at Villa Park so we should see both scoring here. Only three of their last 10 combined home/away games have ended all square we should note, meaning there’s some very good value here in backing a BTTS, No Draw result.

8.30pm, Real Madrid v Cadiz – Real Win & Over 1.5 Goals

TV: Premier Sports 1

Real Madrid’s form has gotten very patchy of late, they’ve let their La Liga lead slip at the top of the table and now find themselves five points behind their old rivals. Of their last five games, Los Blancos have won two, drawn one and lost two but their home form is very strong with eight wins and two draws from their last eight at the Santiago Bernabeu. Interestingly, seven of those 10 games saw BTTS landing, six saw Over 2.5 goals.

Cadiz have been an absolute pain for Real Madrid over recent seasons, beating them at the Bernabeu in 2020 and two of the three matches since then have ended level with Real winning just one. Los Piratas have won just one of their last five games however, drawing three and losing one and on their away trips have won one, drawn two and lost two, scoring three and conceding nine. The hosts have scored at least two goals in four of their six home La Liga games and in seven of their nine home matches in all fixtures so we’re getting with that trend to continue; Real Madrid to Win & Over 1.5 goals is our pick for this one.
