Saturday 5.30pm: Everton v Leicester

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

This is a difficult game, isn’t it? Leicester are just getting back to a little bit of form. They only had a slight defeat against Manchester City but I was disappointed with how City played.

It was the first goal that Leicester had conceded in four Premier League games so at least they were getting a bit tighter. In their six away Premier League games there have been 31 goals. That makes them the top away scorers with 12, but they’ve conceded 19 away goals.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

They could score but they’re going to concede and they’re up against the joint-best home defence in the league in Everton who have only conceded four goals. They’ve only scored 11 so this is going to be a tight game, I think, with both teams on the scoresheet.

I’m going to go for Everton to Win this but for Both Teams to Score. I just think Dominic Calvert-Lewin, coming back into the side and scoring lately, I think he will be absolutely desperate to put in some performances with that World Cup squad coming soon. He’ll be trying his hardest not just to play well but to be on the scoresheet so It’s Calvert-Lewin to Score Anytime.

Sunday 2pm: Southampton v Newcastle

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Newcastle are one of the form teams in the league, they’re surprising everybody. And, what about Southampton? They’ve got the worst home record in the Premier League, only six points from six games. They’re only kept one clean sheet in the last 19 Premier League games so you can see them conceding.

Newcastle are absolutely flying. They’ve got the best defence in the Premier League, only conceding 10 goals. Get this; you’d think these are the numbers of one of the big six but Newcastle United have had 201 goal attempts and only Liverpool and Manchester City have had more than that. Who’d have thought Newcastle could have so many chances?

So, they are flying. They’re unbeaten in three away Premier League games. I’m going for Newcastle to Win this one, I think Southampton are going to be really worried about this game and they’ve scored only four goals in their last eight Premier League games so I can’t see Southampton scoring.

It’s Newcastle to Win to Nil. Miguel Almiron’s been absolutely flying for Newcastle but I’ll go with Callum Wilson to Score Anytime here. I’m going for Newcastle to Win this one 2-0.

Sunday 4.30pm: Tottenham v Liverpool

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

It’s fair to say that Liverpool have not been as good as they were last season. Following that victory against Manchester City, where we played so well, we then slipped up at Nottingham Forest and Leeds.

We’ve lost the last two away from home and we’ve not won any of the five away Premier League games this season which is just incredible. So, I’m looking at this one and Liverpool, against Spurs, have been unbeaten in their last 10 in all competitions.

It’s a big game and I think Liverpool will get up for it but Spurs have largely been fantastic. They’ve scored loads from set plays this season, scoring 11 with nine from corners. Liverpool will have to be worried about that.

They’ve also got the best comeback record and everybody’s talking about it. They’ve had loads of late goals, only turning up in the second half, so this is not going to be a gimmie for either side.

You can probably feel where I’m coming from, I am going for Desmond, 2-2. I do feel there’s goals in this match. You don’t need to be a genius to pick these two goal scorers but they’re the two penalty takers from both sides – Harry Kane and Mo Salah to Score Anytime. They’ll give you a good run for your money.
