7.30pm: Monchengladbach v Stuttgart – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Sky Sports Mix

Neither side have been doing nearly as well as had been expected before a ball was kicked back in August. ‘Gladbach are way off the pace down in 11th position while Stuttgart are making flirty eyes at having a relegation-threatened season. The hosts have won two, drawn one and lost three of their last five fixtures in all competitions while in the league have won one, drawn one and lost three.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

At Borussia Park things are better though as the Foals have won three and lost two of their last five Bundesliga games on home soil, scoring 10 and conceding six. Stuttgart have improved somewhat of late, winning three and losing two of their last five, one of those games however, was a 6-0 thrashing of Bundesliga 2 side Arminia Bielefeld in the cup.

Their league form has seen them taking six points from a possible 15 over their last five with two wins and three losses while their away results have seen them drawing three and losing two, scoring six and conceding 12. The visitors have only won on two of their last 10 visits to the northeast with four ending level and four in defeat. We should see goals here, both are scoring and conceding plenty of late so we’re getting some decent value in backing both teams scoring and seeing at least three goals.

7.30pm: Aberdeen v Hibernian – Aberdeen to Win

TV: RedTV (PPV)

We have fourth taking on third here in the Scottish Premiership but the hosts have the superior home form compared to Hibs on the road where they’ve won just one of their last five away league games, losing four. Overall, Lee Johnson’s side haven’t fared much better with just two wins and three losses over their last five fixtures.

The Dons have won three and lost two of their last five in all competitions, sharing the same results over their last five in the league but at Pittodrie have won four and lost one, scoring a very healthy 17 goals while conceding five. Hibernian have scored five on their recent travels and have conceded 10. The home side have won this fixture in four of their last five meetings here and with the superior goal-scoring stats we have to take the value on Aberdeen to take the three points here again.

7.45pm: Udinese v Lecce – Udinese Win & Over 1.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 2

Udinese can overtake Juventus in seventh, at least temporarily, should they emerge victorious here but neither side are in the best of shape going into their Serie A Matchday 13 clash. Neither side have won any of their last 10 in all competitions. The hosts have drawn three and lost two of their last five but their home league form is far better with three wins, one draw and a loss, scoring 11 and conceding five.

Lecce, on just eight points after 12 games, are hovering just above the relegation zone, as mentioned above are also winless over their last five with two draws and three losses. Their away league results have seen them chalk up just four points from their last five on the road with one win, one draw and three losses. The hosts are short-odds to win here and against Lecce’s leaky defiance we’re backing them to score at least two in their victory.

8pm: Reading v Preston – Both Teams to Score

TV: Sky Sports Football

Reading have collected just four points from their last five games with one win and one draw while at the Madejski have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring six while conceding seven. Preston are in decent shape of late, after a strong start to the season they had a wobble in September but since October have only lost three matches and of their last five have won three and lost two while on their Championship excursions have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring seven and conceding eight.

You’d expect an away win with those stats but the Madejski isn’t a happy hunting ground for the Lillywhites; they’ve lost four of their last five trips there, winning the other one. With the hosts scoring seven over their last five at home they should be getting on the scoresheet here while the visitors have scored at least one in six of their last eight on their travels, we’re going with the safer option of Both Teams To Score here.

8pm: Girona v Athletic Bilbao – Both Teams to Score

TV: Premier Sports 1

Athletic Bilbao can overtake Real Sociedad in fifth with a win here but their form isn’t exactly setting the world aflame of late. The visitors have won just one of their last five in La Liga, drawing two and losing two and on their travels have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring 11 and conceding eight.

Girona have collected just 10 points from their 12 league clashes this season and have won none of their last seven futures, drawing three and losing two of their last five while at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi have won one, drawn two and lost two, scoring seven and conceding nine. There are too many draws in those stats for us to confidently back Bilbao, even though they are, no doubt, the better side on paper. Football isn’t played on paper though and with both teams scoring and conceding plenty of late the best bet here is our old and dependable mate, Both Teams to Score.
