Bodo Glimt v PSV – PSV Win & Both Teams to Score

All good things must come to an end and Thursday sees the conclusion of the 2022 Europa League and Europa Conference League group stages. There’s plenty up for grabs so let’s see where the goals might be flying in with a Both Teams to Score acca. First in our crosshairs is Bodo Glimt v PSV.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

PSV are safely through to the knockouts while Bodo are probably headed to the Conference League with a 3rd-placed finish in Group A ensured unless Zurich shock Arsenal. While that seems unlikely I do think Bodo might score here even if they don’t win. PSV have pulled out all the stops to qualify from this group and, with their name in the hat for the next round already, I can see their foot being taken off the gas a little.

These two shared a 1-1 draw on match day one and, with a trip to the artic circle in November on the cards, I think PSV might be a bit slack and that Bodo can continue their run of scoring in every game they’ve played that’s not been against Arsenal. PSV should be expected to net after scoring 13 in five games so far and their form means we’re getting great value on PSV to Win and Both Teams To Score.

Dynamo Kiev v Fenerbahce – Both Teams To Score

It’s bottom hosting top here in Group B and Fenerbahce will be looking to thrash whipping boys Dynamo Kiev to ensure they finish 1st and avoid a playoff with the demoted Champions League teams in the next round.

This group has had loads of goals and the Turkish giants roared back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with second-placed Rennes last week. Both teams scored at Fenerbahce’s stadium on the opening day and the hosts then have seen BTTS in four of their five matches so far.

Dynamo have only got one point from five matches so far but they’ve been far more competitive than that tally suggests and they’ve lost by one goal on four occasions. Both teams have scored in three of their five matches so, with those numbers in mind, it has to be Both Teams to Score again.

Lech Poznan v Villarreal – Both Teams To Score

To our sole Europa Conference League representative, Lech Poznan v Villarreal. The Yellow Submarine are through to the next round already and are guaranteed top spot in Group C.

Poznan will progress at the expense of Hapoel Be’er Sheva with a draw but could crash out if they’re defeated. They’ve got a two-point cushion and the better head-to-head but their Israeli group-mates travel to Austria Wein who have been absolutely pants so far.

But, back to the matter at hand, and Both Teams have Scored in four of Poznan’s Conference matches this campaign, including a thrilling 4-3 loss to Villarreal. The club from La Liga have conceded to everyone other than Wein in this group and you have to think they’ll do so again while adding a few more to their positive tally.

Rennes v AEK Larnaca – Both Teams To Score

Rennes will be hoping that Fenerbahce slip up at Dynamo Kyiv and that they beat Larnaca to avoid that playoff with the Champions League sides on Thursday night. They’ll have to do the business themselves first, though, and there could be fireworks in this group.

Both teams have scored in five of Rennes’ Europa League games this term and also in three of Larnaca’s. The French side picked up a 90th minute 2-1 win earlier in the campaign against Thursday’s opponents and I think we could be on for something similar here.

Larnaca have scored in all-but one of their matches this Europa League campaign whilst it’s a handsome five from five for the hosts. They both concede plenty as well so it’s a firm Both Teams to Score? Yes in this one.

Roma v Ludogorets – Both Teams To Score

TV: BT Sport 4

We’ll finish with an absolute thigh-rubber in the shape of Roma hosting Ludogorets in Europa League Group C. Jose Mourinho’s men need to win to progress here so absolutely anything could happen on or off the pitch.

Betis are safely through as group winners but Roma need the points against a side who beat them 2-1 back in September. Both sides obviously scored in that game and in three of Ludogorets’ five Europa League matches so far.

Both sides have scored in four of Roma’s five matches with only group whipping boys Helsinki being kept at bay in their vital 3-0 win. This could be a barn burner and I’d be really surprised if we don’t see Both Teams Scoring again.
