AC Milan v RB Salzburg – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals
TV: BT Sport ESPN
With Chelsea already qualified on 10 points at the top of Group E it’s between AC Milan and RB Salzburg to take the remaining Last 16 place. Should it finish level then the hosts will qualify behind Graham Potter’s Blues as Milan are currently on seven points with Salzburg on six. So, as you can see, the visitors will have to go for this and with the Austrians streaming forward in search of goals this will leave them exposed at the back for Rossoneri counter attacks.
Milan have won three and lost two of their last five fixtures in all competitions while at the San Siro share the same record with 10 goals scored and six conceded with Over 2.5 goals and Both Teams to Score occurring in three of those five. The Bulls have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five, while on the road are undefeated over their last nine, winning three and drawing two of their last five with 14 goals scored and six conceded. This one should see Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals.
Chelsea v Dinamo Zagreb – Chelsea Win & Over 2.5 Goals
TV: BT Sport 2
We’re expecting to see a much-changed Chelsea side here with both Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher just a booking away from a one-match ban. Edouard Mendy will be back between the sticks and the front line should see Amando Broja playing in front of Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech. The Blues don’t really need anything here and with upcoming games against the Premier League’s top two, Arsenal and Manchester City, on the horizon you wouldn’t begrudge Potter rotating his starting XI.
The hosts have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five fixtures while at Stamford Bridge have gone seven games undefeated this season, winning three and drawing two of their last five, scoring 10 and conceding three. Dinamo have won just one of their last five games, drawing two and losing two while on their travels have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring seven and conceding four. Chelsea should be more than strong enough to win here but the away side could still make it into the Europa League and will be very motivated here to get on the scoresheet. The hosts should still take the three points though so we’re backing Chelsea to Win & Over 2.5 Goals.
Juventus v PSG – Lionel Messi to Score Anytime
TV: BT Sport Extra
With PSG and Benfica already qualified it’s between Juventus and Maccabi Haifa to take the Europa League place and you’d have to fancy Maccabi for that one as they face Benfica on home soil where a point, should Juve lose, will see them through. The Old Lady have won three and lost two of their last five matches while at the Juventus Stadium have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring 13 and conceding five.
Paris have won 15 of their 19 matches this season, drawing the other four and of their last five have won four and drawn one while on their excursions have won three and drawn two, scoring eight while conceding just two. Former Barcelona man Lionel Messi has four goals over his last five in a Parisian shirt and also has four over his last five away games. Worth mentioning too that he has played Juve eight times over his career so far, scoring three and being in such good form we see him adding to his tally here with a Messi Anytime goal.
Manchester City v Sevilla – Under 3.5 Goals
TV: BT Sport 3
It’s all totally boxed off in Group G with Man City and Borussia Dortmund advancing to the Last 16 while Sevilla are back to their old stomping ground in the Europa League. The Sevilla defenders will have had a good night’s sleep following City manager Pep Guardiola announcing that goal machine Erling Haaland will not feature here. We reckon then that the front players will be Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Julian Alvarez so you’d expect at least a goal or two from them.
The Citizens’ form isn’t spectacular with two wins, two draws and a loss over their last five but on home soil have won all eight of their home fixtures this campaign and of their last five have scored 20 and conceded five. Sevilla have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five and on their travels have won one, drawn three and lost one with four goals scored and five conceded. We don’t see too many goals here with score lines of 2-0, 1-1, 2-1 and 3-0 the most likely so we’re looking at Under 3.5 Goals here.
