Monday night football promises some interesting Latin action where, in the Serie A, Jose Mourinho’s Roma can keep their good run of form going against a struggling Verona while in the later kickoff Monza host Bologna. In England, Plymouth are in incredible form of late and will be looking to add another three points to their tally when Exeter City come to Home Park and finally to La Liga where two sides with very leaky defences face off in Elche v Getafe.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Verona v Roma – Roma to Win & Both Teams to Score

TV: BT Sport 1

Hellas Verona are, to point out the obvious, very much struggling this season with just a solitary win over their 11 Serie A games so far this season. They’re currently enduring a losing run of six games in-a-row while at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi have won just one of their last five league clashes, losing the other four, scoring six while conceding 11 where both Over 2.5 goals and Both Teams to Score has landed in four of those five previous home games.

Roma’s form is very good of late, winning three, drawing one and losing one over their last five in all competitions while in league action, Jose Mourinho’s side have won three and lost two and on their league travels have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring six and conceding seven. With the Roman’s keeping just one clean sheet over their last five overall games and one over their last five away league games you’d have to expect the hosts to draw some claret here but it will be the visitors who take the three points back south to the capital. Roma to Win & BTTS has some mighty value here.

Monza v Bologna – Monza to Win

TV: BT Sport 1

We have a pretty-even match-up here based on recent form, however Bologna have been struggling on the road. Monza have won three and lost two of their last five in all competitions and share the same record over their last five in the Serie A. The visitors have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five while in the league have won just one, drawing one and losing three. Their away form though has seen I Rossoblu losing four and drawing one, scoring in just two of those matches while the home side have won two and lost three over their last five home Serie A fixtures.

Bologna have conceded a total of 12 goals over their last five away league games and eight over their last five Serie A fixtures. With Monza netting nine over their last five games you’d have to give them the better chance here against a side leaking goals.

Plymouth v Exeter – Plymouth to Win

TV: Sky Sports Football

Plymouth are looking good for promotion to the Championship next season, currently sitting atop of League One with 38 points after 16 games. They’re currently enjoying a run of 15 games undefeated across all competitions and over their last five league games have won four and drawn one while at Home Park have won all eight of their most previous league clashes, conceding in just three of those matches.

Exeter have won just one of their last five in all competitions while in their League One games have won two, drawn one and lost two and on their excursions share the same record, scoring 10 while conceding seven. That scoring record could stand to the Grecians here but the Pilgrims will be eager to keep yet another clean sheet on home soil. We’re most likely looking at a 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 here so we’re backing the home side to make it nine home wins in-a-row here.

Elche v Getafe – Over 0.5 First Half Goals

TV: Premier Sports 1

Elche are firmly rooted to the bottom of the La Liga table and they already look doomed to relegation. Getafe aren’t far above them either and neither side have won any of their last five league clashes. The hosts have drawn three and lost two of their last five in the league while on home soil have drawn two and lost three, scoring just three goals while conceding 10.

The visitors have also drawn three and lost two over their last five respective La Liga encounters and on the road have won one, drawn two and lost two, scoring five and conceding nine. Here’s something interesting stats for you. There’s been a First Half goal in all five of Elche’s most recent home games and in four of Getafe’s last five away games too. With both teams leaking goals of late, backing Over 0.5 FH goals makes sense.

Monday Football Acca Tips:

Verona v Roma – Roma to Win & Both Teams to Score
Monza v Bologna – Monza to Win
Plymouth v Exeter – Plymouth to Win
Elche v Getafe – Over 0.5 First Half Goals
