8pm: Napoli v Rangers

TV: BT Sport 4

Napoli -2

The highest scorers in the Champions League take on the side with the worst defensive record in the competition on Wednesday night and there can only be one outcome.

Napoli have been absolutely sensational in their opening four group games, dismantling Liverpool, Rangers, and Ajax with ease.

They ripped Liverpool to shreds in their group opener before strolling to a comfortable 3-0 win at Ibrox to open their campaign and have recently taken Ajax apart home and away to book their place in the knockout stages.

Napoli have won every game in the Champions League by a minimum of two goals and have won three of their four games by three goals or more.

Rangers, on the other hand, are well on course to eclipse the Dinamo Zagreb side of 2011/12 as the worst team in Champions League history.

The Scottish side have lost all four of their games by a minimum of two goals, losing three of their four games by three goals or more.

They currently boast a goal difference of -15 and need to reach -20 to become the official worst team in the history of the Champions League.

They could reach the promised land on Wednesday night.

Victor Osimhen to Score Anytime

Victor Osimhen scored a brilliant late winner at Roma at the weekend as Napoli extended their lead at the top of the Serie A table to three points.

The Nigerian forward has missed a number of games through injury this season but has still managed to find the back of the net on five occasions, including in each of his last three appearances in all competitions.

There is a reason why Osimhen was linked with a big money move to Manchester United over the summer.

The 23-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in Europe and appears to be coming into prolific form, an ominous sign for the rest of Europe and Rangers more specifically.

Antonio Conte

8pm: Tottenham v Sporting Lisbon

TV: BT Sport 3

The Draw

Tottenham produced awful performances in back-to-back defeats against Manchester United and Newcastle, but a third successive defeat against Sporting Lisbon would be the most disastrous by far.

Defeat on Wednesday will leave Spurs staring Champions League elimination in the face, requiring them to win in Marseille on the final day of group games.

Spurs have been underwhelming at best in Europe this season, failing to inspire in home wins over Marseille and Eintracht Frankfurt. They were also outplayed in a 2-0 defeat at Sporting and held to a goalless draw in Frankfurt.

Sporting, on the other hand, started their Champions League campaign in scintillating fashion, comfortably beating Frankfurt and Spurs in their opening two games.

However, back-to-back defeats against Marseille following mindless red cards in each tie has left them with plenty of work to do to qualify for the knockout stages.

They are more than capable of coming away from London with at least a point, provided they keep 11 players on the pitch.

Son Heung-Min to Score Anytime

Son Heung-Min has endured a difficult start to the season, especially considering he finished as joint-top scorer in the Premier League last season.

Son has scored five goals in all competitions this season, but those goals have come in just two games.

The South Korean drew a blank in each of his first three Champions League games of the season but rediscovered his goalscoring touch at just the right time with a brace to help Tottenham to a crucial victory over Frankfurt last time out.

With Richarlison and and Dejan Kulusevski missing through injury and Harry Kane struggling for goals in Europe, Son is arguably Tottenham’s best hope of scoring on Wednesday night.

All five of Son’s goals this season have come at home and he has a decent chance of adding to his tally on Wednesday.
