Saturday 12.30pm: Nottingham Forest v Liverpool

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

The Reds are back! It seems to be happening now with two 1-0 wins including that one against Manchester City. I must say it was one of the best games the Premier League has seen for a number of years with incident, passion, commitment. I know it boiled over but I thought it was absolutely stunning.

Liverpool look a lot better, even against West Ham during the week. They’ve won the last three in all competitions, but get this; they’ve not won any of their four away games this season in the Premier League, so that’s a concern.

But it’s Nottingham Forest and they’ll be happy with the draw against Brighton in the week but it’s no win in nine Premier League games and they’ve scored seven goals. Only Wolves have fewer on five and they’ve conceded 23 with only Leicester doing worse.

Liverpool are playing a bit better and they look a lot more confident. I’m going for Liverpool to Win this to Nil. Darwin Nunez has looked really good, he’s scored in the last three so Darwin Nunez to Score at Anytime as well.

Saturday 5.30pm: Chelsea v Manchester United

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw Brentford during the week but it keeps that unbeaten record under Graham Potter, they’re now at seven, and they’ve had clean sheets in their last five. As you know, Brighton under Graham Potter had a very good defensive record.

They’re unbeaten in eight Premier League games at home now, Chelsea. They’ve scored in each of their last 30 home games. They are good at home and they will score. Manchester United have won six of their last eight in the Premier League.

It was a comfortable win against Spurs which would have surprised a lot of people and they’ve won five of their last six away in all competitions. It’s hard to split these so I’m going for a Desmond 2-2 Draw in this one.

I’m going for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Score Anytime for Chelsea and Marcus Rashford to Score Anytime for United. He seems to have got his mojo back a little bit and should have been on the scoresheet during the week.

Sunday 2pm: Southampton v Arsenal

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Ralph Hasenhuttl must have been praying for a Southampton win against Bournemouth and they came through. It was their first win in six Premier League games and their first clean sheet in 17 games. They’ve only scored three goals in the last six Premier League games.

It’s not good, is it, going into a game against Arsenal who are absolutely flying? The last three games for Arsenal, 1-0 to The Arsenal. They’ve won 13 out of their last 14 games in all competitions so they’re flying.

This is one of the big NAPs of the weekend, I feel. I think Arsenal are going to Win to Nil and if you want a goal-scorer I’ll go for Gabriel Jesus to net Anytime.

Sunday 4.30pm: Tottenham v Newcastle

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Fresh off the back of a 20/1 Bet Builder win on Thursday, Thommo’s constructed another punt for this game so hurry over and check out his Spurs v Newcastle tips.

Safer Gambling 2022

Monday 8pm: West Ham v Bournemouth

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Liverpool beat West Ham quite comfortably in the week but they did show a bit of passion on the last 10 minutes. They should have got something out of it actually with Jarrod Bowen missing that penalty.

But West Ham have only scored nine goals this season which is not like them. They’ve won the last four at home in all competitions so they are starting to get there. Get this, Jarrod Bowen has scored in the last four games at the London Stadium.

Bournemouth, I think Gary O’Neil’s done really well. That defeat against Southampton was his first in seven games but they’ve failed to score in six of their last 10 Premier League games.

I don’t think this is going to be goal fest! I’m going for a 1-0 win for West Ham. I do fancy Jarrod Bowen to Score First and get the only goal of the game.
