Barcelona lost the reverse tie on Tuesday night by a goal to nil but got back to winning ways over the weekend in a hard fought battle with Celta Vigo on home soil. The Catalans are in decent-enough shape, winning three of their last five fixtures, losing the other two but as both of those losses were in the Champions League (away to both Inter and Bayern) they’re under pressure now to perform here and take the three points as they really don’t want to be banished to the Europa League like last season. At the Nou Camp they’ve played four games this season, winning all of them, scoring 13 while conceding just one.
Inter beat Sassuolo on their Serie A travels over the weekend and have won three of their last five fixtures in all competitions, losing the other two. Over recent away trips their form isn’t great it must be said, winning two and losing three but at least have scored in all six of their away games this season. While Barca have an impressive record of clean sheets at home this Inter side have scored at least one in 19 of their last 20 fixtures. A straightforward Both Teams to Score pick gets us started here.
Bayer Leverkusen v Porto – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

Leverkusen went down 2-0 away to Porto in the reverse fixtures last weekend, it was a bit of a mess of a match as the away side scored first only for it to be disallowed so Porto could be awarded a penalty, which they missed, at the other end. The hosts were fired up after that and there was only going to be one winner.. Bayer took out their frustration on newly-promoted Schalke over the weekend winning 4-0 but have won just two of their last five games, drawing one and losing two. At the BayArena they share the same record, scoring nine and conceding seven.
Porto have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five matches while on their travels have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring seven and conceding six. The sides are neck and neck on three points after three games and a draw is no good to anyone so we’re expecting at least three goals, BTTS coupled with Over 2.5 goals is our pick.
Rangers vs Liverpool – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

Ibrox will be an absolute cauldron of noise and passion come kickoff on Wednesday night and after yet another defeat over the weekend for Liverpool the hosts will be gunning for revenge after a lacklustre performance at Anfield last week. The Gers have won three and lost two of their last five fixtures while at home have won four and lost one, scoring 13 and conceding five.
Liverpool are a bit of a mess aren’t they? On the rare occasion when it clicks they are mighty but it’s just not clicking enough this season. The Reds have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five fixtures and have won none of their last five on their travels, drawing two and losing three, scoring six and conceding 11. Jurgen Klopp’s side will be relying on their outstanding Champions League form over recent season and while they should come out on top here the better bet is backing both to score and at least three goals.
Sporting v Marseille – BTTS, No Draw

Sporting will still be smarting from their 4-1 mauling at the hands of Marseille away from home last week. The Leoes have won three and lost two of their last five fixtures, scoring nine while conceding eight. At home they’ve won four and lost one, scoring 12 and conceding three.
Marseille have won two, drawn one and lost two over their last five and have been scoring plenty of late too with nine goals scored and five conceded. Away from home they’ve fared better with three wins, one draw and one loss, scoring nine and conceding three. Les Phoceens are bottom of the pile in Group D but a win would put them level with their opponents here. With so much on the line and two teams in good goal-scoring form we can’t see this ending level; BTTS, No Draw has the value here.
Spurs vs Eintracht Frankfurt – BTTS? No

Spurs have only scored two goals over their last three games in all competitions; Eintracht Frankfurt have also only found the back of the net two times over their most recent three fixtures too. Over those combined six games only two saw Over 2.5 goals and only one saw BTTS occurring. We all know how Spurs play under Antonio Conte, sit back, soak it up and fast counter attacks. Eintracht Frankfurt play a similar type of football. We can’t see many goals here, BTTS, No is our pick for this Group D clash.
