England are back in action on Monday night as they look to salvage some pride after Nations League relegation in Italy on Friday night. They’ll also be some players looking to impress with the World Cup just around the corner.

As this edition of the Nations League group stages reaches it’s conclusion, we’ve picked out a four-way acca for Monday night’s 7.45pm fixtures. There’s plenty of familiar faces to Premier League fans in action, so lets get straight into it…

England v Germany – Both Teams To Score

A solitary Harry Kane penalty is the only goal England have managed this Nations League campaign. It’s no win in five for the Three Lions, whilst Germany are off the back of a 1-0 loss to Hungary.

Both Teams To Score seems like a strange shout given England’s form – but something’s going to give at what could be a toxic atmosphere at Wembley following England’s relegation on Friday night. BTTS has come through in five of the Germans’ last six games, whilst England have kept just one clean sheet in their last five games.

Hungary v Italy – Both Teams To Score

Hungary may be just as surprised as everyone else to be top of their top Nations League group, with ten points from their five games. Their only loss came away to Italy, who know victory will catapult them to top of the group, and through to the finals.

Italy’s class may just be too much for Hungary, but we’re still backing them to put up a fight in Budapest. That’s why we’ve picked out Both Teams To Score. BTTS has come through in three of Italy’s last five games (those other two are both against England, though!), whilst they’ve won two of their last four games.

Hungary lost to Italy 2-1 in the reverse fixture, and face a tough challenge to overturn that scoreline – but have scored in every Nations League game this campaign. It’s a winner takes all clash on Monday night, and could be a cracker!

Teemu Pukki Finland

Montenegro v Finland – Teemu Pukki Goal or Assist

The Norwich City man is the key talisman for his country. Finland have had a mixed bag this Nations League campaign, and know they need to match Romania’s result to stay in the second tier of the competition. They face a trip to Montenegro, a team they beat 2-0 in the reverse fixture, and a side who lost 1-0 on Friday night.

Finland have scored six goals in this Nations League, and Pukki has five goal involvements, with three goals and two assists – and also takes penalties for the Scandinavian side. If Finland score, the likelihood is Pukki will be involved, as he was on Friday night, where he popped up with a goal in their 1-1 draw.

San Marino v Estonia – Estonia to win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0

Even with the drop in quality of opposition, San Marino are still rubbish (shock). The benefit for the home side is that they’ve stopped losing by six or seven, and started losing by two or three, so that’s progress. Estonia are three from three in their bottom division Nations League campaign, including a 2-0 win against San Marino last time the two sides met.

The only thing that could get in the way of this bet is if Estonia bag four or five, but San Marino have only conceded five goals in the three Nations League games – and including friendlies, six in their last six! But they haven’t scored since 2019.

Not one to tune in for, but could be a banker in the acca…
