WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Germany vs Hungary: Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Premier Sports 1

Germany are very short odds to win when they take on Hungary but it’s the visitors who have had the better results of late. Die Mannschaft have won one and drawn four of their last five, with all four of those draws ending 1-1. The other ended in a 5-2 victory over Italy. On home soil they’ve had better results though and are nine games without a loss, while of their last five have won four and drawn one, scoring a very respectable 19, conceding four. Three of those games saw Over 2.5 Goals while three also saw Both Teams to Score.

Hungary have been in strong form of late, winning three of their last five matches, drawing one and losing one, scoring eight and shipping three. They share the same results over their last five on the road – three wins, one draw and a loss and scored a total of nine and conceded four. The question is then, are Hungary good enough to score on the road against Germany? The hosts have conceded in seven of their last 10 at home and in six of their last seven home/away games. Sticking four past England in their most recent away game too means the Magyars should be good for at least one here. Backing Both Teams to Score and Overs has the value.

Italy vs England: Both Teams to Score, 19.45

TV: Channel 4

Both sides come into this somewhat licking their wounds. They share the same results over their last five games with one win, two draws and two losses and will be eager to get back to winning ways and move up the table as both are in danger of being relegated to League B next time around. Italy’s home form hasn’t exactly been mighty of late either, they’ve won two of their last five, drawing two and losing one, scoring six goals while conceding five.

England’s away games have seen them winning two, drawing two and losing one. Both of those wins though were against Andorra and San Marino so we can’t read too much into them even though chalking up 15 goals over them is decent enough. In all they’ve scored 17 over their last five on the road and conceded three. With five of the last six meetings between the sides ending with Both Teams to Score and both desperate for a good result here we’re going with a straight BTTS bet for this one.

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Montenegro: Both Teams to Score – No

Bosnia currently top proceedings in League B, Group Three on eight points after their four games with Montenegro hot on their heels on seven points. They’re in fairly similar form but the hosts are odds-on to take the three points here even though these sides drew in the reverse fixture back in June. The home side are unbeaten over their last five fixtures, winning three and drawing two and on home soil have won three and lost two, scoring five and conceding five as well.

The travelling side have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five matches while on their travels have won two and lost three, scoring six and conceding five with Overs being seen in just two of those games and they failed to score in three of them. Only one of Bosnia’s last five on home soil saw Overs and they kept two clean sheets over those five and failed to score in two of them. This one should be tight and we can’t see many goals; Both Teams to Score – No has the value here.

Finland vs Romania: Both Teams to Score

TV: Premier Player

Finland occupy third place in the same group with four points after one win, one draw and two losses with Romania sitting bottom on four points after one win and three losses so far. The Finns have won just one of their last five games, drawing one and losing three while over their home games have won one, drawn two and lost two, scoring just four goals and conceding six. The away side have also won just one of their last five, drawing one and losing three while on their recent excursions have also won one, drawn one and lost three, scoring five and conceding seven. With the home side keeping just one clean sheet over their last six at home and one over their last eight overall we have to see the travelling side scoring here so we’re going with BTTS for this one.
