Sunday 12pm: Brentford v Arsenal
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
The Draw
Brentford and Arsenal recorded hugely differing results in the last round of Premier League fixtures a fortnight ago. The Bees’ brilliant 5-2 win over Leeds was just their second win of the season, but the manner of the victory and their performances in previous games have justifiably excited fans.
A few blemishes aside, Brentford have been excellent this season, dismantling Manchester United 4-0 in their first home game of the season and producing late come backs to snatch draws against both Everton and Crystal Palace. They have been particularly impressive at home, taking seven points from a possible nine and scoring 10 goals.

Arsenal, on the other hand, suffered their first defeat of the season in a 3-1 loss at Manchester United. The Gunners were still impressive at Old Trafford, however, and could have taken something from the game had they not lost their heads for 10 second-half minutes.
Mikel Arteta’s side went down to am infamous 2-0 defeat to Brentford on the first day of the season last year, but this is a very different outfit their performance on Sunday should bear no resemblance to that display from August 2021, although they may have to settle for The Draw against a formidable Brentford side.
Ivan Toney to Score Anytime
Ivan Toney scored one of the great Premier League hattricks in Brentford’s win over Leeds, with his third goal proving especially eye-catching. Toney has been excellent since they gained promotion last year and is by far their most dangerous player.
He has netted five of their 15 league goals this season and will cause a huge problem for an Arsenal defence that has kept one clean sheet in its last six games in all competitions. Toney is the most likely Brentford player to Score Anytime.

Martin Odegaard to score or assist
Martin Odegaard has been excellent since being made Arsenal captain over the summer. The Norwegian midfielder has already scored three times in six outings this season, almost half of his tally of seven goals from 37 games last season.
Odegaard has yet to register an assist this season but averages 1.7 key passes per league game. He was unlucky not to break that particular duck against Manchester United after his incisive through ball put Gabriel Jesus through on goal only for the ball to be tackled into the path of Bukayo Saka, who slotted home the equaliser instead. Odegaard is good value to Score or Assist on Sunday afternoon.
Gabriel Jesus to Score or Assist
Gabriel Jesus has been one of the signings of the summer so far, scoring three and setting up three in his first six league appearances. Jesus has tormented Premier League defences and seems to be flourishing since leaving Manchester City, where he always seemed to perform the role of an understudy.
Jesus takes 3.3 shots per game and averages 2.2 key passes per game, making it unsurprising that Jesus is slightly odds on to Score or Assist on Sunday at the time of writing.
