Both Teams to Score
Danish side Silkeborg welcome West Ham United to the JYSK Stadium on Thursday night for their Europa Conference League Group B clash. The Hammers top the group thanks to their 2-1 win over FCSB last week, the hosts are third after losing their opening game 1-0 away to Anderlecht.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
The Danes find themselves fourth in the Superliga after nine games having won five, drawn one and lost three. De Rode have played three European games so far and results haven’t gone their way, losing and drawing one with Finland’s HJK in the Europa League Qualifiers and losing in the aforementioned Conference League Group Stage game against Anderlecht last week. Their home form is decent though, they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five, scoring eight and conceding four.
West Ham began their campaign rather underwhelmingly but over their last five fixtures have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring nine and conceding four with Both Teams to Score landing in three. Over their four away games this season, the Hammers have won two and lost two, scoring five and conceding three. With both teams in robust goal-scoring form then we have to begin with a Both Teams to Score value pick.
West Ham (-1)
The host’s overall form isn’t exactly spectacular, they’ve won just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing three and contrasting that with the form of David Moyes’ Irons who have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five it’s clear to see why the away side are quite obviously the favourites here.
After having last weekend off, Moyes is likely to play a full strength XI here to keep their good form going with an eye on their upcoming away game against Everton on Sunday lurking on the horizon. The home side are decent on home soil but over the 90 minutes here the difference in quality between the Premier League side and the Danes should become evident. We can only see the Hammers emerging victoriously here in easy style so West Ham (-1) in the handicaps is a good price.

Jarrod Bowen to Score Anytime
Jarrod Bowen had one of his best seasons in a claret and blue shirt last season and was justly rewarded with an England call up from Gareth Southgate, featuring in all four of England’s games last June. The speedy winger scored 12 Premier League goals last term, scoring three domestic cup goals too and netted three over their Europa League run to the semifinals last time around.
He’s already gotten off the mark in European competition this season too, scoring last week against FCSB and one over their two ties against Viborg during the qualification phase. With the international break just around the corner he’s going to be eager to impress again and we feel we’re getting some very good value odds here for a man who loves to shine on the European stage. We’re backing him to add another to his European tally against the Danes here with Bowen to Score Anytime.
Over 2.5 Goals
With West Ham hitting good form against a side who have only won one of their last five we’re fully expecting them to apply more gas here and go for an impressive away display. After last season’s success of making it to the semifinals in the Europa League they’ll be out to go further in the Conference League this season. They should win this one comfortably and we’re backing Over 2.5 Goals in the game with West Ham potentially passing that benchmark by themselves.
