7.45pm: Norwich v Bristol City – Yes

TV: Sky Sports Red Button

It’s a busy old Wednesday night in the world of football and we should be in line for plenty of action once again. To help you navigate your way through the games that might be the most entertaining here’s a Both Teams To Score? Yes/No acca. We start in The Championship with Norwich v Bristol City.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

The away side are the second-highest scorers in the second tier with 16 goals in 8 games. They’ve also conceded 11, leading to an average of 3.37 goals per game so far this season. Norwich are more reserved, with 12 scored and 6 conceded, but they’ve still got a healthy average of 2.25 goals per game.

Both teams have scored in three of The Robins’ last four matches while it’s two over the same number for The Canaries. Norwich’s defence is pretty good but with the amount of goals these two score it has to be Both Teams To Score? Yes here.

8pm: Chelsea v RB Salzburg – Yes

TV: BT Sport 3

Graham Potter takes charge of both his first Chelsea and Champions League matches here needing a win for a multitude of reasons. His Brighton side had the joint second-best defence in the Premier League, however, his new side have conceded in each of their last six.

You can’t fix a defence overnight and they take on a Salzburg side who might fancy an upset off the back of scoring two or more in each of their games this season with the only exception being their credible 1-1 draw with Milan on gameday one. I think they’ll nick one as Potter’s methods will take time to settle in so it’s Both Teams to Score? Yes.

8pm: Maccabi Haifa v PSG – No

TV: BT Sport 6

This should be a fairly open and shut case of Both Teams To Score? No here but there is the caveat that it’s Paris St Germain we’re talking about. They take on minnows Maccabi Haifa on the back of a run of three clean sheets out of four, with only Juventus netting against them in that timeframe.

Maccabi Haifa lost their opening Champions League clash 2-0 away at Benfica and you can be sure they’ll come out hoping for damage limitation on Wednesday night. They won’t be able to keep PSG at bay but we’ll bet the Parisians can shut out their hosts.

8pm: Manchester City v Borussia Dortmund – Yes

TV: BT Sport 2 and BT Sport Ultimate

A potentially mouthwatering clash awaits as Manchester City welcome Borussia Dortmund to The Etihad for the Erling Haaland derby. Dortmund have been bonkers in terms of goals per game and Both Teams To Score landing in the last couple of years but they’ve kept five clean sheets already this season, scoring plenty along the way as well.

City have been rather leaky by their own standards with the likes of Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Newcastle breaching them in their last five. This could be high scoring and ludicrous amounts of fun, so I think Both Teams To Score? Yes should click.

8pm: Rangers v Napoli – Yes

TV: BT Sport 4

Rangers come into this one the back of two 4-0 defeats and a vast improvement is required immediately. They face a tough task in the Champions League against a Napoli side who are undefeated this season and kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 4-1 trouncing of Liverpool last week.

You might be inclined to side with the No option here and for Napoli to win to Nil but I think, as we saw with Celtic’s opener against Real Madrid, The Gers will be fired up with the backing of a boisterous crowd behind them here. Similarly, this might be a bit after the Lord Mayor’s show for Napoli who surely can’t be as good as they were against Liverpool again. With home advantage I’ll back Rangers to get at least one here and for Both Teams To Score? Yes.

8pm: Real Madrid v RB Leipzig – Yes

TV: BT Sport 5

We finish with Real Madrid’s clash with RB Leipzig at The Bernabeu. The Spanish champions’ defence hasn’t been as stingy as last season where they conceded just 31 goals in 38 La Liga games. This time around they’ve conceded in every domestic match with their only clean sheets coming in the Super Cup and against Celtic last week.

Leipzig have had a slow start to the season with just three clean sheets. They’ve scored in all-bar one match this term, including a 3-0 win over Dortmund and the surprise 4-1 loss to Shakhtar in their Champions League opener. Both are good going forward with defensive frailties so it’s Both Teams To Score? Yes again.
