It’s always nice the way these Champions League games start off with an early fixture because it whets the appetite for the late games. This one is really interesting because Tottenham obviously had no game at the weekend and they beat Marseille, who are going great guns in the French league, last week.
Sporting beat Portimonense 4-0 at the weekend. It sounded like an easy victory but their opponents are sitting fourth in the Portuguese league, while Sporting are sixth with a mixed record this season.
Spurs are having a great time under Antonio Conte and things are clicking into place. I’m going for Tottenham to Win 2-0. They’re on such a roll.
I’d back Harry Kane in front of goal most of the time but Richarlison is full of confidence.
We saw what he was like at Everton once he gets in that mode so I’m going for Richarlison to Score Anytime.
Wednesday 8pm: Man City v Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund suffered a massive defeat away at RB Leipzig on Saturday. It was just shocking. Dortmund have won four and lost two out of their six games. They’d look to be in a better position than they are at the moment!
If Dortmund do have a go at City then there could be a lot of goals. Instead, I think they’ll sit tight early on in this game and I expect Manchester City to dominate.
City had no game at the weekend and they beat Sevilla 4-0 last time out. I was watching on the TV and they absolutely battered Sevilla. I’m looking at Man City to Win 2-0.
Erling Haaland has 12 goals in eight games so it’s quite obvious who I’m picking to open the scoring! It’s Erling Haaland to Score First. No great shakes there.
