7.45pm: Torino v Lecce – Torino to Win

TV: BT Sport 1

After a thrilling weekend of action we’re turning our attention to Monday night’s games and Torino v Lecce in Serie A is the first match in focus. The home side were unbeaten so far this season until their 3-1 defeat against Atalanta. They’d won two and drawn one prior to that loss.

Torino have scored five in four games, however, they’ve also conceded the same amount. Despite their indifferent defensive record, we’re expecting them to get the job done on Monday. Lecce are still searching for their first Serie A win this season (drawn two and lost two) and the home side should have more than enough to pick up another victory. Torino to Win will do us!

8pm: Middlesbrough v Sunderland – Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football

Next up is the Championship showdown between Middlesbrough and Sunderland. Boro have had a poor start to the season with Chris Wilder’s men winning just one of their opening seven games.

Sunderland, meanwhile, are just outside the playoffs after their 3-0 win against Rotherham on Wednesday, which was their first game under new manager Tony Mowbray. While we reckon the result will be a draw, we’re going to back Over 2.5 Goals instead.

Boro have bagged 10 and conceded 12 in just seven games this season, while Sunderland have netted 11 times in their seven games. Over 2.5 Goals has landed in five of Boro’s last six games, while it’s been a successful pick in four of Sunderland’s last six matches. The stats don’t lie.

8pm: Valladolid v Almeria – Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Premier Sports 1 and LaLigaTV

Valladolid v Almeria in La Liga is next on our list as 11th travel to 19th. Valladolid have had a slow start to the season and they’re looking for their first win (drawn one and lost two). They’ve also shipped eight goals in that period after losing 3-0 and 4-0 against Villarreal and Barcelona respectively.

Almeria have won one, drawn one and lost one of their three La Liga outings but they’ve scored in every game. It’s a hard one to call in terms of the result so we’re getting on Over 2.5 Goals, which has landed in four of both side’s last six combined games.

9.15pm: Chaves v Rio Ave – Chaves And Draw

Finally, we’re in Portugal for Chaves v Rio Ave in the Primeira Liga. Chaves have had a solid start to the season and they’ve won two and drawn one since losing their opening fixture. Rio Ave, meanwhile, have won just one of their opening four games – and they’ve conceded seven times in those fixtures.

Rio have conceded 2 goals on average in their last five away matches so we’re not expecting a solid performance on the road. We’re not going all in on a home win so we’re backing Chaves And Draw in the Double Chance market.
