NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

The Draw

Middlesbrough were tipped to be challenging at the top of the table this season, however, they’ve had a disappointing start to the campaign. Chris Wilder’s men have won just one of their opening seven games.

As for Sunderland, they’re coming into this one with a new manager after Tony Mowbray replaced Alex Neil earlier this week. Mowbray’s made a strong start and was in charge for their 3-0 win against Rotherham on Wednesday.

That win, which was their third of the season, sent Sunderland up to eighth in the table.

Sunderland are in slightly better form than Middlesbrough but we fancy the home side to put in a solid effort. It could be hard to split them on Monday night so we’re going to be bold and go for The Draw.

Over 2.5 Goals

It might be hard to split the sides on Monday but there could be goals in this one. Middlesbrough have scored 10 and conceded 12 in just seven games this season, while Sunderland have netted 11 times in their seven games.

Over 2.5 Goals has landed in five of Boro’s last six games, while it’s been a successful pick in four of Sunderland’s last six matches. We’re hoping that trend continues… Over 2.5 Goals it is!

Both Teams to Score

We’ve mentioned we’re hopeful in our hunt for goals so we’re going to chuck in Both Teams to Score as well. This selection has landed in all but one of Boro’s games this season and Sunderland are averaging 1.2 goals per game in their previous 10 away matches.

Ross Stewart to Score Or Assist

Finally, we’re backing Sunderland’s main man Ross Stewart to do the business on the road. The 26-year-old has netted five goals and chipped in with three assists in seven Championship games this campaign.

He bagged twice and set up one in Sunderland’s win against Rotherham last time out and he’s scored or secured an assist in five of his last six fixtures. Ross Stewart to Score Or Assist caps of our Bet Builder for Monday night’s showdown!
