For Saturday night’s European action we’re delving deep into the goings in the Serie A where Empoli host defending champions AC Milan first of all. Up next we’ve found some decent value in the PSG vs Nice match in France’s Ligue Un while at the same time Mallorca face the might of a new-look Barcelona with new signing Robert Lewandowski leading the line. Finally then to Portugal where current league leaders Benfica can make it 14 wins on the trot away to Vitoria Guimaraes.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Empoli v AC Milan, 7.45pm

Both Teams to Score
TV: BT Sport 1

Empoli have so far chalked up just seven points over their seven Serie A games so far this season, winning one, drawing three and losing one over their last five league clashes, scoring six while conceding six as well with Both Teams to Score landing in four of those five matches. At the Stadio Carlo Castellan they’ve played four games so far, drawing three (losing their Coppa Italia game in Extra Time) and losing one, scoring three and conceding five.

Milan have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five in all competitions and share the same results over their last five in the league, scoring eight while conceding five. Away from home they’ve won just one of their four away games in all competitions, drawing the other three, scoring four and conceding three. Milan won this fixture last season and one other of their last five outings here with the three others ending level with BTTS landing in all five and four ending with Over 2.5 Goals. Empoli are a tough side to beat and Milan should be good enough here but we must point out they’ve been drawing a few too many to be confident of backing them here, the better value is in backing both teams hitting the back of the net here.

22- ACCA CRACKER - NEW CAP 1024

PSG v Nice, 8.00pm

PSG to Win to Nil
TV: BT Sport 2

PSG have played a total of 11 games so far this season, winning 10 while drawing the other one. Over their last five fixtures in all competitions they’ve won all five, scoring 10 while conceding just two. In Ligue Un they’ve won four and drawn one of their last five, netting nine while shipping just one and on home soil have won three and drawn one of their four games in total, scoring nine and conceding four.

Nice are struggling it must be said, they’ve only won one of their last five, drawing two and losing two while in the league they’ve won two and lost three, scoring just three, conceding six. Away from home they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring four and conceding four. The Parisians should win this at a canter and with Nice finding it tough in front of the sticks we’re getting some nice value here in backing the home side to Win to Nil.

Mallorca v Barcelona, 8.00pm

Barcelona to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
TV: Premier Sports 1, La Liga TV

Mallorca have won two of their last five in La Liga, drawing one and losing two, scoring a total of just three goals while conceding seven. On home soil they’ve only played three games, collecting four points from a possible nine with one win, one draw and one loss with three goal scored and three conceded.

Barcelona have been in great form of late, except for that 2-0 away loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, winning four and losing one of their last five, scoring 15 while conceding just three. Away from home they’ve won three and lost one of their four games this campaign, scoring 11 and conceding three. We fully expect Barca to romp home here, they’ve back scoring loads of goals and Robert Lewandowski has somehow gotten even more clinical; we’re backing Barcelona to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Vitoria Guimaraes v Benfica, 8.30pm

Benfica to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0
TV: FreeSports

Vitoria Guimaraes have had a busy start to their campaign thanks to being in action in European competition, but their results haven’t been great, winning just one of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing three. Their home results have been strong though, winning four of their last five at the Estadio Dom Afonso Henriques, losing the other one, scoring six and conceding just one.

Benfica, as mentioned above have won all 13 of their games this season and have, obviously, won all five of their most recent league games too, scoring 14 and conceding three, keeping three clean sheets over those five games. Away from home in the league they’ve won all five across all competitions, scoring nine and conceding just one. As Aguias are already two points clear at the top of the Primeira Liga and with that stingy defence we’re liking the look of Benfica to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0 here, a bet that would have won in four of their last five away matches.

Empoli v AC Milan – Both Teams to Score
PSG v Nice – PSG to Win to Nil
Mallorca v Barcelona – arcelona to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
Vitoria Guimaraes v Benfica – Benfica to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0
