Football Tips: Thommo’s 7/1 turbo treble for Tuesday’s Premier League action

A tasty treble for Tuesday night's action in the top tier.

A clutch of mid-week action and top pundit Phil Thompson thinks can get the treble up.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

Tuesday 7.30pm: Crystal Palace v Brentford

Crystal Palace nearly pulled off the shock of the season so far when taking a 2-0 lead at Manchester City at the weekend, but couldn’t sustain it in the second half.

The Eagles have improved since their opening-day defeat by Arsenal and can get three points on the board in their home tie against a Brentford side who haven’t hit the same heights since their 4-0 demolition job against Manchester United two games ago.

Crystal Palace to win for me.

Tuesday 7.45pm: Southampton v Chelsea

It doesn’t get any easier for the Saints who are trying to secure a second win of the season after beating Leicester in a morale-boosting 2-1 win. They were a little unlucky against Manchester United and played well enough to certainly draw the game, but Chelsea will pose a real test again.

Thomas Tuchel’s side played with 10 men after Connor Gallagher saw red in the 28th minute but still hung on for a 2-1 win over Leicester. The Leeds defeat realy shook them and they’ll not want to lose any more ground in the title race even at this early stage.

Chelsea to take all three points.

Tuesday 8pm: Leeds v Everton

TV: BT Sport 1

It can be hard to predict how Leeds will go but seven points from a possible 12 is a good return although I’m sure they were looking to kick on after their impressive win over Chelsea was met with defeat away to Brighton at the weekend.

Everton have still to register a win in the Premier League this new season and are really struggling to get a striker in up top. The spent too long near the relegation zone last season and I don’t think they’ll have enough fire-power to beat Leeds away on Tuesday night.

Leeds to get back to winning ways.
