6pm: Zurich v Linfield – Zurich to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
Zurich were made to work hard for their 2-0 win in the first leg last week at Windsor Park. The Swiss side are very short odds to win over the 90 minutes here but Linfield will take some hope from how lacklustre their opponent’s form has been. To date FCZ have only won one of their seven competitive games this season, drawing two and losing four. On home soil they’ve drawn three and lost two of their last five competitive fixtures played there.
Linfield are yet to begin their Premiership season but have played six competitive games so far, five of which were in European competition. Of those six games they’ve won two and lost four and over their last five away competitive games have won two, drawn one and lost both of their away European fixtures. The hosts have scored at least two goals in five of their last eight home matches while Linfield have conceded 11 while scoring four on their travels and in leaking so many goals we can see Zurich winning this at a canter. We’re backing the hosts to win and Over 2.5 Goals here.
7pm: Sligo Rovers v Viking – Both Teams to Score
Sligo Rovers don’t really have a snowball’s here after making such a mess of things in the first leg by losing 5-1 away from home. However, they’ll be up for gaining back some pride here and in front of a sell-out home crowd they should make it a tough night for the visiting Norwegians. The hosts have won three, drawn one (losing it in ET) and lost one of their last five games while at the Showgrounds have won two of their last five drawing two (winning one on penalties and losing the other in ET) and losing one.
Indeed, Rovers have lost just one of their last 12 played on home soil in normal time and scored in all but one of those 12 matches. Viking have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches while away from home have won just one, drawing two and losing two, scoring seven and conceding 10. With both in strong goal-scoring form the price for Both Teams to Score certainly represents decent value.

7.45pm: St Pat’s Athletic v CSKA Sofia – Both Teams to Score
St Pat’s pulled off one of the shocks of the last round beating the favourites on the night CSKA Sofia thanks to a late Serge Atakayi goal. The hosts are also not the favourites here but both teams are in similar form. Pat’s have won one of their last five, drawn three (winning one on penalties) and losing one while CSKA have won three, drawn one and lost one. Their respective home/away form paints a different picture, the hosts have won just one of their last five on home soil, drawing two and losing two, scoring eight and conceding seven.
Sofia have won one, drawn three and lost one of their last five competitive away fixtures, scoring three and conceding six. While the away side’s scoring record isn’t great, the hosts have only kept two clean sheets over their last nine at home and with the pressure on the visitors need to get back into this tie. Both Teams To Score has the value here.
8pm: West Brom v Sheffield United: Both Teams to Score
Neither side will be too happy about their starts to the Championship season; the Baggies have drawn both of their opening fixtures 1-1 while Sheffield United have won one and lost one so far. West Brom have won two and drawn three of their last five competitive fixtures while at the Hawthorns have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring eight and conceding five with BTTS and Overs landing in three of those five matches.
The Blades have won two, drawn one (losing it on Pens) and lost two of their last five competitive games while on their travels have won one, drawn two (losing one on Pens) and lost two, scoring six and conceding five with BTTS landing in three. With both teams scoring and conceding plenty of late we have to stick with a Both Teams To Score pick here.
8pm: AZ Alkmaar v Dundee United – Over 2.5 Goals
Dundee United also pulled off a shock last week beating Alkmaar 1-0 on home turf. The market is giving The Terrors virtually no chance in this second leg here with the hosts being very short odds to take the victory over the 90 minutes. AZ have won four of their last five competitive games, losing the other one and at the AFAS Stadion have also won four and lost one, scoring 12 and conceding just four.
The visiting Scots have won two of their last five competitive games, drawn two and lost one while on their recent travels have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring six and conceding six. The onus will be on the hosts to get back on level terms here early but Dundee’s scoring record could stand to them here. We’re likely looking at a 2-1, 3-1 or 3-0 here so we’re going with Over 2.5 Goals.
