Football is back, and after a bumper weekend of Premier League action, we’re looking abroad to find some Sunday night value.

This four-way accumulator comes from four different countries. First up, Marseille host Reims, live on BT Sport in Ligue Un action, and our European tour continues as we visit Turkey for Antalyspor v Galatasary, and stop off in Portugal for as newly promoted Chaves host Vitória Guimarães.

We’re also packing in some Brazilian flair at the Maracana, as Fluminense play Cuiaba. Let’s get into the bets…

Marseille v Reims: Marseille win-to-nil

BT Sport 1, 19:45 KO

Last season’s second-placed side Marseille have strengthened all positions over the summer. The key additions of goalkeeper Pau Lopez, winger Cengiz Ünder and striker Arkadiusz Milik have been bolstered further, by making last season’s loanee Mattéo Guendouzi permanent, and bringing in Nuno Taveres on loan from Arsenal for the upcoming campaign.

Whilst Reims finished mid-table last season, they’ll struggle to get at result at Stade Vélodrome against a side that took four points off them last season. Reims were one of the lowest scorers in the league last year, and have only bolstered their attack with (another) Arsenal loan signing Folarin Balogun – a 21 year old with 3 goals in 20 senior appearances.

We can’t see Reims scoring, so we’re backing a Marseille win-to-nil for this fixture, to kick off our Sunday night acca.

Antalyspor v Galatasary: Both Teams To Score

19:45 KO

Despite being somewhat of a household name, Galatasary finished a meagre 13th place last season, which has prompted somewhat of a clear-out for the Istanbul side. They come into the new season with a new manager and seven fresh new players. The marquee signing is big Swiss striker Haris Seferovic on loan from Benfica.

Antalyspor finished above their opponents last season in 7th place, but only took one point of them last season, with this fixture finishing in a one-all draw. But the home side finished last season strongly, going 16 matches unbeaten, including six consecutive wins, to rise out of the relegation zone. That run included both teams scoring in their last nine league matches – including that draw with Galatasary on the final day of last season.

BTTS would have also come through for 3 out of Galatasary’s last four games of last season – so we’re backing both teams to score in this game.

Fluminense v Cuiaba: Fluminense to win 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1

20:00 KO

The Brazilian Serie A have been playing throughout this summer, and Fluminense find themselves in 3rd place, and unbeaten in 9 games. Their opponents are in the relegation zone, having taken only one point from four games. On paper, the team from Rio should have this in the bag.

So to find betting value, we’re looking at the correct score combinations market. Whilst having won six of their last nine, Fluminense have only kept three clean sheets in that time. In their last five games, they’ve scored 11 goals and conceded eight on their way to 11 points. Cuiaba have scored five in their last six games, but kept just the one clean sheet. With both side’s poor defensive record, we think both teams will score, and Fluminense could put Cuiaba to the sword on their way to victory.

So we’re going for the score combinations of 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 in a Fluminense win.

Chaves v Vitória Guimarães: Both Teams To Score

20:30 KO

Newly promoted side Chaves have a tricky opening game of the season, as they host a Guimarães side who finished sixth last season.

The home side lost only one game last season in the second tier, as they picked up 40 points from their 17 matches. They’ll be further encouraged by the fact that Guimarães punched below their weight away from home last season, only picking up four wins on the road.

We’re backing both teams to score in this one – which is always a good option with newly promoted sides. Their defence may struggle with the extra quality up top in the higher division – especially against a side who scored 50 goals last year. But Chaves haven’t failed to score at home since November, making BTTS a decent shout.
