Thursday’s football acca has us focusing on all of the Europa League and Europa Conference League fixtures involving the remaining Scottish and Irish teams and we’ve scoured through the stats and form of all 10 teams involved to find a value-busting five-fold acca.

There’s a lot to get into here so it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get stuck in.

18.00: CSKA Sofia v St Patrick’s Athletic – St Pat’s Under 0.5 Goals

Sofia are short-odds to win here and are in the superior form of the two sides. The hosts have played six competitive games this season where they’ve won four and drawn two, scoring 14 goals. On home turf they’ve played four games so far this campaign, winning all of them, scoring 13 and conceding just one.

St Pat’s are coming to the end of their league season with 24 games played and over their last five have won just one, drawing three, winning one on penalties and losing one. Their away trips haven’t been great though with just four draws (winning one on pens) and one loss where they scored in just two of those five. With that sturdy home defence and Pat’s being goalshy on the road we can’t see them scoring in Belgrade.

18.00: Viking v Sligo Rovers – Both Teams to Score

Again the hosts are the favourites here; the Norwegian side have won three of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing one with Over 2.5 Goals landing in three. On home turf they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one with Both Teams to Score occurring in all five and Overs in three.

Rovers have won two, drawn two (winning one on pens and losing the other in ET) and lost one over their last five fixtures. Away from home they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring in four, indeed John Russell’s side have scored on the road in 11 of their last 13 and with the home side’s BTTS home record the value here is in backing both teams to get on the scoresheet.

19.45: Linfield v Zurich – Under 2.5 Goals

Linfield are home underdogs here but come into the game in the better form; the hosts have played five games so far, winning two, drawing one (winning it in ET) and losing two. Zurich have lost three and drawn two over their five competitive games thus far. At home, Linfield have won two and drawn three (winning one in ET) over their last five at home, scoring just six goals.

Zurich have lost four and won one of their last five away competitive fixtures and have only scored in one of their three away games played this season. With both teams short on goals we’re going with the value here on Unders.

20.00: Shamrock Rovers v Shkupi – Shamrock Rovers to Win

Rovers will come into this game the sharper of the sides. They lead the Premier Division after 24 games and have played four Champions League Qualifiers, going out to Ludogorets in the last round. The hosts have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five fixtures while on home soil have now gone 14 games without defeat and of their last five have won four and drawn one, scoring nine while conceding just two.

Shkupi have only played four games this season, beating Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps 3-2 before going out 3-2 to Dinamo Zagreb in their prior Champions League Qualifiers. Looking at their last five away competitive games, the North Macedonians side have won just one, drawn two and lost two, scoring four while conceding eight. With the hosts in the better form we have to side with the Dubliners here.

20.00: Dundee United v AZ Alkmaar – AZ Alkmaar to Win

Both sides will be a bit cold here as they’ve only played three competitive games so far this season. Dundee drew their Premiership opener with Kilmarnock 1-1 away from home last Saturday while AZ put five past Bosnia’s Tuzla City over two legs in the previous round of the competition.

Looking at Dundee’s last five home competitive fixtures, they’ve won just one, drawn two and lost two, scoring six and conceding nine. Alkmaar’s away record isn’t great either with one win, two draws and two losses over their last five on their travels but their scoring record is superior with 10 goals scored to eight conceded. With the visitors showing better goal stats and Dundee conceding plenty we’re siding with the Dutch team here.
