5pm: Bodo/Glimt v Zalgiris – Over 2.5 Goals

Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt take on Lithuanian champions Zalgiris here and the home side are very much the favourites with the market. Both sides are well into their league seasons with 16 and 18 games played apiece now. Both are in good form too, the hosts have won four of their last five in all competitions, losing the other one with the visitors now going eight games undefeated, winning three and drawing two (winning one in Extra Time).

On home soil, the Norwegians have won all five of their most recent fixtures at the Aspmyra Stadion, scoring 22 goals while conceding just one. The visitors have won four and drawn one of their last five on their travels, scoring 11 and conceding just one. With both teams in such great goal-scoring form we’re looking at goals here so we’re backing Over 2.5 Goals for this one.

5pm: Qarabag v Ferencvaros – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

Azerbaijani champions Qarabag have been looking strong over their Champions League Qualifiers so far, putting Lech Poznan and FC Zurich to the sword already while Hungarian league winners have seen off Kazaki side Topol and Slovan Bratislava already. The hosts have won two, drawn two (winning one on penalties) and lost one of their last five competitive games and on home soil have won four and drawn one, scoring 17 while conceding three.

Ferencvaros have won three of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing one with Overs and Both Teams to Score witnessed in three of those five. Away from home they’ve won four of their last five, drawing the other one, scoring a total of 12 while conceding five with Overs and BTTS landing in four. With both teams in great goal-scoring form as well as their combined stats for Overs landing in their respective games, the value here is in backing BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals.

6pm: Maccabi Haifa v Apollon – Under 2.5 Goals

The hosts are heavy favourites to win the first leg and indeed, to Qualify for the Next Round. They’ll be a bit more match-fit too as they’re three games into their season now having put out Greek side Olympiakos 5-1 on aggregate in the previous round and drawing 1-1 in their season opening Super Cup game. Of their last five competitive games they’ve won two and drawn three (losing two on penalties). On home soil, they’ve won two, drawn two (losing one on pens) and lost one with BTTS landing in three of those five.

Apollon have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five competitive fixtures and over their pre-season friendlies lost two and drew one. On their travels they’ve won one and drawn four. Over 2.5 Goals has only landed in four of their last 10 combined home vs away games between the sides meaning Under 2.5 Goals has the value here.

7pm: Dynamo Kyiv v Sturm Graz – Both Teams to Score

Dynamo were 2-1 winners over Turkey’s Fenerbahce in the previous round while this will be Sturm Graz’s first game in the Qualifiers. Kiev have played nine friendlies over the last two months but they’ve only played two competitive games since the Ukrainian league was put on hold. Strum, however, have three competitive games under their belt now with two wins and a draw, scoring nine while conceding three.

Little doubt then that the visitors should get on the scoresheet here but the market is backing the hosts and they’ve been strong in the Qualifiers over recent seasons, beating the likes of Ferencvaros, Gent and AZ Alkmaar at similar stages of the competition. That experience should stand to them here but with the away side in great goal-scoring form we’re looking at Both Teams to Score here.

7.45pm: Crvena Zvezda v Pyunik Yerevan – Crvena to Win to Nil

The hosts are massive favourites here against Armenian champions Pyunik Yerevan. They’re also four games into the season now and have won all four of those fixtures, scoring 16 and conceding two with Overs landing in all four. Pyunik have so far eliminated Cluj and Dudelange over previous rounds in the competition but have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing two (winning one on pens) and losing two and on their away journeys have won two and drawn three (winning one on pens).

The away side have failed to score in three of their last five overall fixtures and Crvena Zvezda have kept three clean sheets over their four games played this season and in three of their last five played at home too. With those stats we have to go with the value here; Crvena Zvezda to Win to Nil is our pick here.
