We’re down to the final stages of Euro 2022 and we’re expecting a tight and exciting game in this first semi-final. England have been the competition’s form team, conceding just goal, scoring 15, and eliminating the pre-tournament favourites Spain (admittedly without star player Alexia Putellas) in the previous round.

At the time of writing, I think Sweden are criminally long odds to win for a team which have failed to convert a few chances but have played very well throughout the tournament. They have been the better side in all their games so far and have only conceded twice.
Given the strong defences of both teams, putting in the Draw in your Double Chance bet should be a nailed-on pick for any Bet Builders.
Kosovare Asllani Anytime Assist
Having assisted half of Sweden’s goals in the tournament, and registering four shots and three key passes during Sweden’s last game, Asllani will be hoping to keep up the creativity she has displayed all tournament.

England had difficulty breaking down the Spanish, but Lauren Hemp was England’s main attacking threat having three shots and a key pass, and can count herself unlucky to not get on the scoresheet. Hemp has been a key performer and proven she can provide when the Lionesses have needed her most.

With only three goals conceded collectively by both teams throughout their combined eight games, we shouldn’t expect a goal-fest here. Sweden did not concede a shot on target against Belgium and England did not concede all group stage, so a tight affair is likely in store.
