With Sweden and Switzerland drawing their opening games and both having mixed feelings about those results, each side will be looking for the victory to kick-start their campaigns. Sweden were the better side against the Netherlands and were very unlucky not to win.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

The Dutch had a few good chances but Sweden were very solid and their opponents only broke through in spurts rather than through any sustained pressure. Switzerland will be very disappointed with their loss of a two-goal lead against tournament underdogs Portugal.

They are unlikely to get a result against a much stronger Swedish side who have world-class players in every position. I would predict a strong performance and result for Sweden so here’s a Bet Builder for your consideration.

WHAT: UEFA Euro 2020, Group C – Sweden v Switzerland
WHEN: Wednesday, July 13th, 5pm
WHERE: Bramall Lane, Sheffield

HOW TO WATCH: BBC Two, BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport Website

Jonna Andersson Anytime Assist

Jonna Andersson did a lot more than just score Sweden’s only goal in their opening match. She had another chance to double Sweden’s lead before Jill Roord’s lucky equaliser and had multiple dangerous crosses which found Lina Hurtig who failed to convert. Both of Portugal’s goals came from crosses in dangerous positions so this should be a real source of optimism for Sweden’s attack. Jonna Andersson Anytime Assist kicks us off.

Over 2.5 Goals

With Sweden being the heavy favourites for this match, I would be backing a reasonably high goal line. Sweden should be very dominant here and Switzerland have shown their defensive frailities last time out against Portugal who were the lowest rated team going into the tournament. I would predict a winning margin of two or more goals for Sweden so Over 2.5 Goals is a good play.

Fridolina Rolfo To Have 2 Or More Shot On Target

Fridolina Rolfo was by far Sweden’s standout player in their opening match against the Dutch and was very unlucky not to get on the scoresheet with her incisive runs through the middle. I would back Rolfo to have another strong performance against the Swiss and be in a lot of dangerous positions throughout the match. Fridolina Rolfo To Have 2 Or More Shot On Target will be a very good price.

Away Over 1.5 Cards

Switzerland have a strong track record of yellow cards in their previous fixtures with them racking up 13 in their last 15 games. Three in their opening fixture could also show that is going to be a feisty affair so I’m backing Over 1.5 Switzerland Cards.
