22:00 Saturday – DC United vs Nashville: Nashville Double Chance

DC United have gone five games now without a win and find themselves second from bottom in the Eastern Conference, above Chicago Fire on goal difference. Nashville are in decent overall form, winning two, drawing two and losing one of their five most recent fixtures.

The hosts are the favourites here thanks to having two wins, one draw and two losses over their five most previous home MLS encounters while the visitors have also won two, drawn one and lost two over their last five on their league travels. United have scored five goals over their last five MLS games with the Band have scored eight over their last five.

With the home side going five without a win we don’t see them as favourites here at all and with the away side scoring more goals we have to oppose them. We’re backing Nashville on the Double Chance here.

00:30 Sunday – CF Montreal vs Charlotte: Montreal to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

In fifth and seventh position, on 23 and 20 points respectively, both sides will be gunning here to get themselves higher up the table and closer to leaders New York City. Montreal’s form has taken a wobble since a string of results in March and April that saw them take 19 points from a possible 21.

Over their five most recent MLS fixtures they’ve won just two, however, losing the other three. Their home league form is better though with three wins and two losses, scoring 11 and conceding eight with Over 2.5 goals landing in four of those matches.

Charlotte have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five in the MLS but their away form makes for some dire reading; they’ve won none of their eight away games this season, drawing two and losing six, scoring five and conceding 14. They’ve scored in four of their last five away games and Overs was witnessed in three of those matches. Montreal to Win coupled with Overs is screaming value at us here with those stats.

01:00 Sunday – Houston Dynamo vs Chicago Fire: Houston Dynamo to Win

Both sides come into this one in rough shape. Dynamo have won just one of their last five fixtures, Chicago also share that less-than-desirable statistic. The home side’s league form is a tiny bit better; two wins over their last five with three losses but at the PNC Stadium have won two, drawn one and lost two, scoring seven and conceding six.

Fire have won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five in the league while on their away trips have lost four of their last five, drawing the other, scoring six and conceding an eye-watering 14. With such defensive problems and bad form on their travels we can only see yet another defeat for the struggling Chicago Fire.

02:00 Sunday – Austin FC vs FC Dallas: Both Teams to Score

Third and fourth face off in the Western Conference here and third-placed Austin could wrestle top spot away from LAFC should results go their way. The home side have won two, drawn one and lost two of their five most previous MLS games while at the Q2 Stadium have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring seven and conceding four.

Dallas have won two and lost three of their last five MLS games while on the road have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring nine and conceding six. While Austin are favourites here they’re just not winning enough for us to confidently back them but with both teams in ripe goal-scoring form the best bet is seeing both teams getting on the scoresheet.

03:00 Sunday – Real Salt Lake vs Columbus Crew: Real Salt Lake to Win

In second place in the Western Conference Real Salt Lake are just two points behind LAFC and face a Columbus Crew side who have won just one of their five most recent league games. The hosts have won four and lost one of their last five in the league while on home turf have won four and drawn one, scoring 10 and conceding just three.

The Crew have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing two and losing two and share the same stats over their recent league excursions. With the hosts in such strong form we simply have to back them.
