Irish Cup odds: Latest Paddy Power prices following Tuesday’s draw

The Irish FAI Cup draw took place on Tuesday, June 21, with a total of 32 teams entering at the first round stage. There are 20 Airtricity Premier and First Division clubs alongside 12 non-league teams.

Current League of Ireland champions Shamrock Rovers are at the top of the market following Tuesday’s draw. It’s no surprise considering they’re the most successful team in the history of the Irish FAI Cup, having won it a staggering 25 times. They’ll face Bangor Celtic in the first round.

Derry City and Dundalk are next in line according to Paddy’s traders, with the clubs facing Oliver Bond Celtic and Longford Town respectively.

Current Irish FAI Cup holders St Patrick’s Athletic are an attractive price but can they win it again this year? They’ve been drawn at home against First Division side Waterford.

Sligo Rovers are a double figure price to win it all, with them hosting Wexford.

Tuesday’s draw also resulted in an all-Premier Division tie, with Bohemians travelling to Finn Harps. The hosts are struggling in the league, while Bohemians are sitting mid table.
