We’ve got some more sweet sweet Nations League action on Monday night as France host Croatia in a replay of the 2018 World Cup final.

France’s Nations League campaign has been a disaster so far, with Didier Deschamps’ side bottom of the group after three games. They’re winless and their two points came in draws against Croatia and Austria.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

Croatia, meanwhile, are sitting on four points after their impressive win in Denmark last Friday. They’re usually a hard side to break down so they’ll fancy their chances of frustrating an out-of-form France side.

We’ve studied the form and the numbers and put together a Bet Builder for you to check out. Enjoy!

France to Win

France’s form is obviously far from ideal heading into a game against a stubborn Croatia side. However, their squad is still far superior to that of their counterparts.

Kylian Mbappe could likely start after only being fit enough to come on as a substitute in France’s 1-1 draw against Austria last week. The PSG talisman came on in the second half and bagged a crucial equaliser.

France were held to a 1-1 draw in Croatia after the hosts were awarded a penalty with around ten minutes remaining. We’re confident that France will have enough at home to put Croatia away. France to Win makes sense to us.

Under 3.5 Goals

We’ve explained how we’re siding with France to win, however, it’s highly unlikely they’ll blow Croatia away.

Firstly, France’s form suggests they will only edge past Luka Modric and Co if they do win. It’s also worth mentioning that Croatia rested Modric and Chelsea’s Mateo Kovacic for their 1-0 win in Denmark last Friday so they should be fresh.

Secondly, there haven’t been many goals in either side’s Nations League clashes. Under 3.5 Goals has landed in all six of France and Croatia’s Nations League games. We’re expecting that trend to continue on Monday night. Under 3.5 Goals is a smart pick.

Kylian Mbappe to Score Anytime

France’s golden boy Mbappe stepped up when needed against Austria and Deschamps will be hoping for more of the same against Croatia.

The PSG forward will likely start from the off with France in desperate need of a win.

Mbappe netted 34 goals for PSG this season and we’re confident in backing him to add to his tally for his country on Monday. Mbappe to Score Anytime is next on our betslip.

Christopher Nkunku Anytime Assist

Finally, we’re turning to RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku, who had a sensational season last time out. The forward had the campaign of his life and racked up 35 goals and 14 assists for the German side.

Nkunku, who also came on as a substitute, set up Mbappe’s equaliser in Austria last week, meaning he’s got two assists in his last three Nations League appearances.

The winger’s confidence has never been higher so we’re picking Nkunku Anytime Assist as our final Bet Builder selection.
