Our tipster Colin Harvey sees you right on Sunday night.

Treasure these moments. These sweet, sweet Sunday nights where we get a smattering of action from all across the Continent. I promise you, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.

And it won’t be long now. The end of the European domestic seasons are uncomfortably close and, with the World Cup moved to the winter, it’s going to be a long summer without our fix of soccer to see us through.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

But, chin up, let’s live in the moment. European footy is still here this weekend and our old friends from MLS have starting knocking on the door asking to come to the party.

Come one, come all. Here’s a super Sunday night treble for us to get stuck into.

7.45pm: Cagliari v Inter – Inter Win & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

We kick off in Serie A with a massive game at the top and bottom of the table where Cagliari in 18th host the title-chasing Inter Milan. Both sides badly need the win here with their respective targets currently occupied by other teams with AC Milan one place and two points above Inter at the top and Salernitana just above Cagliari by a point in 17th.

Two games left in Italy and this is a nightmare fixture for Cagliari. Inter have won six of their last seven in the league while the hosts have won just one of their last nine, but they did salvage a last-minute equaliser against Salernitana to keep their survival hopes alive last time out. They have lost the other seven, though.

By all accounts Inter should win this. Cagliari have been involved in lots of low-scoring games while the goals have been flying in all over the shop for the visitors. Inter have seen Over 2.5 Goals in all five of their most-recent league matches, conceding in every game, so Inter to Win and Over 2.5 Goals feels like a good play in a game lacking value.

8.30pm: Guimaraes v Gil Vicente – Over 3.5 Goals

We shimmy over to Portugal next where the Primeira Liga reaches its conclusion on Sunday night, though not everyone plays at the same time. It’s Guimaraes v Gil Vicente on our radar and it’s a game that literally has nothing riding on it.

That could make things a little uncertain but it’s 5th travelling to 6th with an unassailable six-point gap between the two. Neither can go up or down so let’s just have a nice kickabout in the Portuguese evening sunshine. Glorious.

Simone Inzaghi Inter

As such, I think the way to play here is to back goals and to back lots of them. I really like the price on Over 3.5 Goals, especially given Gil Vicente’s recent form. In their last five games they’ve seen 17 goals, an average of 3.4 per match.

The numbers are significantly lower for Guimaraes who come into this one the back on three 1-1 draws but they did rack up a 4-0 win in the game before that. Given there’s nothing on this and the beach is calling, I think we could well see a goal-filled bonanza for these two to round off their seasons in entertaining style.

9pm: Seattle Sounders v Minnesota United – BTTS? No

TV: Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Mix

We finish in MLS where most teams have played at least 10 games now. Seattle have only played eight and they’re second bottom of the Western Conference on seven points while their opponents on Sunday night, Minnesota, are 7th having played 10.

Bizarrely these two are gearing up for their second match of the season already, with Seattle having beaten Minnesota 2-1 away from home at the start of April. It’s one of only two wins they’ve picked up this far and surely they’ll fancy a repeat on home soil.

They’ve lost three on the bounce, but Minnesota are very hit and miss as well, drawing two, winning two, losing two, winning two and then losing their last two. Essentially, these two have picked up three points from their last six combined games, losing five of them.

I fancy a go on Both Teams To Score? No here. While both are in shocking form there is a trend of Both Teams To Score? No clicking in their last few games. Over that previously-mentioned six, we’ve seen this bet land on five occasions.
