THOMMO: Over the last few weeks the mood has been very good with Liverpool as you could imagine. They’re still going, dare I say it, on four fronts. I know it’s going to be difficult to win the league, but it has been really good.
For Chelsea they’ve been a bit up and down of late, but Liverpool always have a tight game against them as we saw in the Carabao Cup final. I’m one of those who thinks form goes out the window in a final.

Chelsea are going to be absolutely fired up for it. But can you keep going from being an 8/10 one week to being a 4/10 the next? It’s been difficult for them to get the balance and that’s where Chelsea have been.
It was their first win in four Premier League games against Leeds but one of the big things that they will say is that Romelu Lukaku’s back on the scoresheet. As for Liverpool the stats are stacking up.
Sadio Mane’s been in the better scoring form than Mo Salah and I’ve got a fancy Mane will Score Anytime in this one. This game is not a foregone conclusion and it could come down to the defences.
BRIAN: I think Chelsea will be confident coming into this one. In their last four head-to-heads against Liverpool they haven’t beaten them in 90 minutes. Liverpool won the most recent Carabao Cup in a penalty shootout.
Even though Chelsea seem a bit inconsistent they do raise their game for these big fixtures. Liverpool, I feel this is very tricky for them because there’s more pressure on them here. They’ve had an incredible season but now we’re getting to the crunch and they’ve missed out on the league title… almost!
There’s a lot of pressure on them in this and the Champions League. They’ve played every single possible game this season and they’ve got to the final of every competition. Is there potentially a bit of fatigue setting in?
We saw them concede two against Villarreal, they drew with Tottenham, they came from behind against Aston Villa. I think Mo Salah might be the best to Score Anytime here just because he’s on penalties.
I just don’t want to back Liverpool to Win this game. I think it will go the whole way, just like the EFL Cup, I’m going to go for The Draw inside 90 minutes.

Chelsea are not as good as they were in the early states of the season and I think Liverpool have just got more all round than Chelsea. I think Liverpool will with with Both Teams to Score inside the 90. I’ll say 3-1 Liverpool.
